Rave reviews told me to come here, but what I got was overpriced food with horrible accommodation's (like cramped as heck). It’s undeniable that the tacos are great here, looking at you Al Pastor taco, but it’s gonna be a while before I’m back.

I'd like to start by saying Im furious with myself for not discovering this place earlier. Tampa does not have a rich heritage of Mexican food a d so the offering of most places are good but not great. Grew up eating the real deal and been gone so long I guess id forgotten. Well the memories came flooding back here. Everything we got (and got a nice mixture) was spot on. Starting g with chips and real, chunky guacamole. Carne Asada tacos...perfect size , taste and sauces (real Tex Mex and so are the sauces). Quesadilla was great. Did carne Asada and chorizo. Beautiful flavors and not greasy at all!!! Pork tamale was very nice , maybe a bit more filling as it was SO.good. Lastly the sopa was.exceptional!!!! Beautiful fresh ingredients in a perfegt blend on top of a.perfectly sine sopa. Truly one of the best dishes I've had in quite awhile. Masterful!! Topped it off with an aqua horchata and it was sublime. Absolutely will be back to work my way thru the entire menu. New #1 spot for me.

One day we Birria tacos they were great. Today we got them hardly any meat or cheese thankfully I ordered pico on the side or there would’ve not been anything to eat.
Authentic, homemade, fresh, affordable and delicious lunch today. I’m super happy we checked this place out. Today is taco Tuesday so buy 2 get 1 free, I can’t recall the last time anyone has offered a free anything, score! We shared the small guacamole and chips, I enjoyed the carne asada and chorizo tacos and my husband loved his chicken and beef w/ chorizo tacos. They both came w/ a herbaceous cilantro slightly w/ a kick sauce and grilled onions as a topping. Perfect amounts. Lunch was $26 w/ two drinks, plus tip. I highly recommend.
