Great choice for a casual Tuesday night out. Table was ready ahead of the reservation. Music vibe was a good selection. Server was extremely attentive. Food came out fairly quick given the evening crowd was sizeabke. Our selections were extremely flavorful! Definitely would do a repeat. We had jerk egg rolls. The sauce that comes with was so very good! The crab and artichoke dip which we selected to have with tortilla chips was also extremely tasty. The steak frites did not disappoint either! Drinks were on point to top off great food. Great bar selection. Great views for the rooftop as well. All in all, keep this on repeat.

The service was terrible our waiter was rude and never really there. We got our food before we got our drinks and had to chase down someone else to get our check.

Can't really review, because I was stopped at the door. Wasn't aware that flip flops were against dress code until arrival. Might want to post that somewhere besides at the door so I can dress accordingly next time.

Food very over priced. Speciality drinks not tasty but the strawberry margaritas were ok and the traditional espresso martini were good. The atmosphere was hot but nicely decorated.

I love this place. Good food, nice setting. Would highly recommended going and I will be back. Also one thing that was upsetting is that I didn't get my physical receipt and the waitress basically told us our totals but didn't let us know that the tip was included so we tipped her really big. Didn't notice until I checked my card and seen a extra charge

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at M Bird. I visited from New Jersey for my birthday and was subjected to unnecessary scrutiny. Despite having a reservation, my group and I were singled out and questioned about our IDs. The bouncer even asked if I had ever had a fake ID, which was completely uncalled for. I had my passport with me, which should have been sufficient proof of my identity on top of an ID scan and verifying three times. The whole ordeal was a waste of my time and put a damper on my birthday celebration. Needless to say, it was my first and last time at M Bird.

We went for a special date night dinner mid-week and were pretty disappointed. We had a reservation and got a nice table with shade under an umbrella. The server told us they were out of draft IPA, but had two IPA in cans. They were both unknown to us, so we asked some specific questions she couldn't answer. She said she'd bring over a bartender and disappeared. It was pretty early, 5:30 pm so not crowded. She returned with no bartender and lame descriptions that didn't answer the simple questions we asked. We were about to order the nachos to share, when she stopped us to explain the nachos aren't like other places. Something about one chip with toppings stacked. We didn't really grasp what she was trying to explain, but she succeeded in making it sound unappetizing, so we decided to call it a failed attempt at dinner and left. We went downstairs and found great food somewhere else. The biggest thing they have going for them is nice decor with a great view. Their staff could use training and their menu needs an upgrade or better explanation (on the menu). I was expecting elevated dining, and perhaps the nachos were an elevated version, but it didn't come across. Disappointing experience, but we didn't let it ruin our evening.

It's a gorgeous rooftop view and drinks are good but do NOT go for food. Our whole party got steak that was poorly cooked. My medium rare was raw and cold in the center. The staff was dull and not helpful and most things are overpriced. Cute place for a picture but that's about it.

Our server was fantastic and the drinks and food were outstanding! The view is always nice as well!

The drinks were good, location is beautiful, but the food was just eh...I was really looking forward to the jerk lobster rolls and they were just little cuts on top of a roll with literally a tablespoon of lobster filling on top. Disappointed for sure.

We had a frustrating experience at this restaurant due to what felt like a deliberate trick by the server. The bill came without any mention that the tip was already included, and instead of showing the full itemized receipt, the server immediately handed me a tablet screen asking for a tip amount. Thinking it was the standard process, I entered a tip—only to find out later that an 18% gratuity had already been added. In total, the server walked away with a $70 tip on a $160 bill. This kind of misleading practice is unacceptable and left a sour taste after what should've been a pleasant meal.

They erroneously over billed me $90 on a $450 bill and would not credit me. Even after I spent an additional $300.

One of the better views of downtown Tampa if you're going to grab a drink after work. Gorgeous place.

This is basically a bar with a limited food menu. However, the food they do serve is delicious. They don't really have availability for big parties but they will make it work. I had my team of 18 and we were sitting with a bunch of side tables in front of us. I was a little disappointed at first but a couple of drinks and food and I didn't care as much. The rooftop bar is amazing for sunsets.

I'm from Tampa and M Bird is general pretty good. Last night wasn't the night for them. It can be hit or miss and don't go if you want to have any conversations, the music is beyond club volume after 10pm.
