The food was okay but nothing special. I came here about 6-8 months ago the last time I was in Tampa. It's just trying to be like fresh kitchen which I think has better food.

Servers were maskless, talking into the food. The food was old and cold. The food appeared to be out for a long time, and was not fresh. Disappointing.

I love this place(Tampa) and can see why people are getting frustrated. One day they are open at certain times and other days they are just not open at all in the Tampa location. Maybe under staffed but would be nice for them to advise this. I get emails offering deals and cannot even order and you are my favorite place for bowls. I guess i will need to find another place that is consistently open when i am craving bowls. 8-(

Amazing wholesome food for a great price. All the selections are always fresh and the variety is perfect. Choosing a healthy base of greens, cauliflower rice or basmati rice is the beginning of a great meal. Follow with your veggies, then with protein and top it off with delicious sauces or extra toppings. Staff is friendly serving you a hearty and healthy meal. We keep coming back for lunch day after day!!

Mahana Fresh in New Tampa is by far my new FAVORITE eatery!! They offer healthy food for an affordable price, big portions and staff and management go above and beyond! Me and my coworkers order from there at least once a week! They are so friendly and you can tell they truly care about their customers! In these times where everyone seems so rude they are definitely a breath of fresh air! Glad I found this place and I will continue to be a loyal customer! ***side note I never really liked cauliflower until I had theirs***Heather Ridgeway

We loved this place previously. On our last visit last week though we were a bit disappointed. The bowls were almost half the amount of food they used to be, they charge extra for the lemonade now, and the floor was extremely sticky. It will be a while before we go back.

I really enjoy their food over any other health restaurant. I feel like I get the most out of their meals. I had lunch and dinner from 1 bowl. I highly recommend!

Tried this place and it was really good. Fresh food and full of flavor. I had the big Mahana with brussels sprouts and broccoli with Key West chicken and steak. Loved the sweet potato noodles as a base! Kristen and Jauntrell were very helpful, friendly and made the experience even better! We’ll be back for sure!

Basically Chipotle with more food options. I got a Big Mahana for $10.99. I don't remember what all I put in my bowl, but it was fresh and healthy. Definitely a good fast casual place to keep in my lunch rotation.

For Gluten-Free and or Vegetarian options great place. Build your bowl style eating with yummy options. Small but nice outside patio available to eat at. Affordable and staff is super friendly. So glad to find a good gluten-free place to eat!

**UPDATE** I was contacted by Mahana customer service and given x2 free bowls certificates to use for a future purchase to give it another chance. Unfortunately, the food was still over cooked and had obviously been sitting out for some time before I came in to order. The mushrooms had 0 taste, the majority of the brussel sprouts were burnt. While I appreciate the incentive from customer service to give it another shot it just didn't hit the mark. I did however notice the staff put on new gloves to prepare my bowl which was nice to see! I really was hoping to come back here to change my review but it would be dishonest. The food is just not up to par. I've been wanting to check this place out after living here for several months and was really disappointed. When initially walking in I wasn't sure if it was even open because it was so quiet and only two people were there working- I can see why. The food appeared to be over cooked and it appeared to have been sitting out for quite some time. (I was there around 5pm). I decided to give it a chance anyways. I went with the coconut rice, mushrooms, brussel sprouts, key west chicken with cilantro vinaigrette. The person preparing my food used the same gloves that she handled money with from the customer ahead of me and I regret not saying anything to her so that's my fault but let's me honest- this is common food handling 101. I got the food home and it was barely edible - overcooked and it had no flavor. Of note: I did leave these comments via a link I received from the company and never heard back which also is a bad look. With all the food options locally, particularly those with a similar concept I would not recommend ordering from here. Stick to fresh kitchen and Cali!

First time here after eyeballing it for weeks. AMAZING!! Kevin was great, he was working alone and killing it! He opened the place at 9am and we came in at 8pm and he was still so friendly and helpful. The food was incredible! You've made us regulars for sure!

We’ve been to similar restaurants with the “fresh ingredient” bowl concept. One of my favorites in St Pete is Fresh Kitchen. Overall Mahana Fresh is equal if not better in some ways than FK.The interior is clean and bright with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. We were greeted warmly and they have many great base, veggie, and protein options. My only doubt is just how “healthy” some of the options are as everything seemed to be covered in some type of sauce including the raw tuna. If you are calorie concerned, I’d speculate none of the options are truly low calorie.I tried the Brussels Sprouts, Garlic Beans, Key West Chicken and Tuna. My partner had the Mushrooms, Brussels Sprouts, Grilled Steak and Teriyaki Chicken. Both our 2 base, 2 veggie, and 2 protein bowls were HUGE. Neither of us were able to finish without over stuffing ourselves. The Brussels Sprouts were spicy, but we both liked them. The Garlic Beans were also very good as were the mushrooms. The only thing we didn’t like was the Key West Chicken- it was overly dry. I wasn’t going to say anything, but my partner mentioned it when one of the staff asked us how the meal was. Within moments, the chef/manager(?) sent freshly made chicken over. It was great and we really appreciated the gesture.I also left my debit card at the counter which they were honest and kind enough to bring out to me.Mehana Fresh has superior customer service, quality food, and reasonable prices- I wish they had a location closer to St Pete!
