Honestly, one of the worst dining experiences ever this last week.
Wanted a quick date night since me and my girl were downtown. Suggested a few places and she decided on Malios due she has yet to try it. I’ve been before, like a year ago and everything was fine
This dinner however.. 2/10 at best. We both ordered drinks, steak and a side. Simple order.

Service and food were both excellent. Lobster Mac & cheese, chicken fettuccine Alfredo and crab cakes were all perfectly cooked and delicious. The complimentary bread was warm and soft. 5 ⭐️
Excellent Across the Board
After all these years, we finally got to Malio’s in downtown Tampa. Why did we wait?
Malio’s is one of those clubby, old-fashioned places where everyone is professional and where they do things right. It’s also one of those places where regulars gather and new folks, like us, get introduced around.

Malio's offers a high-end dining experience with excellent and impeccable food. The steaks, including the filet Pittsburgh style and the Tomahawk Ribeye, are hard to find better in the area. The sides like the lobster mac and cheese, sautéed spinach, broccoli, mashed potatoes, and mushrooms are outstanding. The service is accommodating and friendly, with staff making great menu recommendations and pacing the meal perfectly. Malio's provides a pleasant, comfortable atmosphere that is not too stuffy, offering a great view for diners looking for a fine dining experience. The staff is polite and patient, and the food's presentation and taste are good. This is a space suitable for special occasions or family dinners. The restaurant's decor is beautiful, and the service and food are delicious, making it a place worth revisiting.
