Best pizza in Tampa, gotta try this out!! Ordered a slice of regular pizza, and with my job as a flight attendant my hours are always off so it was nice to have a pizzeria open in the late hours. Front guy max was amazing, definitely recommend coming to get slice and even if you’re not all into pizza, definitely come for the customer service!

DONT ORDER HERE THEY STEAL Money! DONT pick up phones and have poor customer service. They stole 75 dollars for me and I received nothing no food no soda no nothing. They didn’t even try to call me I called Uber eats for them to deliver and NOTHING! Don’t do it! You won’t get no money back … and Uber eats only refund up to 48 hours they don’t care if you out of town on business and trying to travel back home or if a plane was delayed to delay the call. DID THEY GET A PICTURE OF THEM DELIVERING!?! That’s the rule right? Take a picture for PROOF NOPE IM A STRAUGHT GOOF!!!!

The giant garlic knots are like drugs ...Yesterday I bought a slice of white pizza with spinach and cherry tomatos with a giant garlic knot on the side. I inhaled that and came right back for more. Still thinking of returning again today ??
I go here after a lot of my shows. pizza is always amazing. quick, reliable. but shout out to the man Max behind the counter who handles drunk people every night, and extra shoutout cause he defended me and my friends from some drunk homophobe. this dude and his pizza are awesome.

The most authentic New York things about Mangia Bene were the take out only service, the cash only, and the hole-in-the-wall look. The pizza was good, but the crust was being choked off under a layer of thick cheese that got in the way of any magic happening. The crust was thin and tasty, but the sauce and cheese came almost up to the edge leaving very little pizza crust unexposed. And the crust WAS the highlight. Really good sauce too, just not enough. All ingredients individually were very good, unfortunately, the ratio was off. New York pizza besides thin crust has a THIN layer of cheese. Still, Mangia Bene satisfied enough to pass the bar for good pizza.
