My first time at Adventure Island, I used the all day meal pass to enjoy the restaurants. The second restaurant I went to was Mango Joes. I placed my entree on the tray and chose the grapes as a side I also had a cookie and the choice is either a side OR dessert (my mistake) after giving up the cookie the grapes spilled all over the tray and I felt completely defeated and overwhelmed by the crowd of people. I took my drink cup to the table after filling it with sprite, it was carbon water absolutely no flavor. I am an overworked healthcare worker that spent money I didn’t have to have some fun with the family. My reaction to the poor food service was the reason we left the park only two hours into our day. I really regret buying a pass for all of 2024 and the meal pass and the quick que. they’re all upgrades that aren’t necessary. Take my experience as a warning. You will have a bad day and feel defeated such as myself.

What a joke! Long lines, disgusting food, no trays, no ice, and no seating. $40 for a salad and kids meal and the lady says to sorry we are busy. Like you didn't know that it would be. Absolutely ridiculous!

Horrible experience service was horrible I had a discount and the lady didn't give me the discount on the total meal she just gave me a discount on my meal not on my family's meal when I went back to refill they said to me clearly you're not allowed to get refills service was very poor regarding customer service needs to the work on it

The smoked half chicken and pulled pork sandwich are very good for amusement park food. The prices are high though. I think this restaurant is the best one at adventure island.

Well I can't tell you how good the food is because we went at 4pm and they were closed. Seeing as though the park is only open until 5 I'd say that is unacceptable. Especially when you purchase the all-day dining and they are 1 of 2 places to choose from. Oh, and there aren't hours posted anywhere. So if you want to eat here and you have the all day dining, eat there first. The sea side cafe however is open the entire time. But we will now be eating there twice in one day. The food there is good.

This food location at Adventure Island has fresh and tasty BBQ meals. You can even smell the stuff getting cooked while floating on their lazy river. It's a bit expensive but very delicious.

Mango Joe's Beach Cafe is located at Adventure Island Water Park in Tampa next to the Lazy River, North of the Kids Splash Zone, and offers views of Mango Joe's Cabanas, the Lazy River, Colossal Curl, and the Caribbean Cork Screw.Mango Joe's Beach Cafe serves BBQ Ribs, Chicken, Pulled Pork, Chicken Caesar Salad, Mac & Cheese, Fries. Kids can choose between a kids size portion of BBQ Ribs, Chicken or Chicken Nuggets with a side of fries or fruit. Mango Joe's also has the best bar in the whole park, serving frozen drinks including Strawberry Daquiri, Blue Raspberry, and Mango Daquiri, in a regular cup, souvenir Mason jar, or fresh pineapple cup for a more exotic look. The Smoked St Louis Ribs came with just 4 ribs which is less than a half rack for the price of a full rack at $18.49. It's not the best value or serving size but the ribs were tender and had a decent flavor. 7/10 The Smoked Half Chicken came with a generous portion size and fries. The price of $15.99 is well above the average for BBQ chicken but it's at a theme park and you do get more meat than if you order the ribs so I'd have to recommend these over the ribs. 8/10If you're looking for the best frozen drinks at Adventure Island and some good BBQ and are not in the mood for burgers or chicken fingers, definitely hit up Mango Joe's Beach Bar! Fun fact: there is also a Mango Joe's at Sea World in Orlando!
