Giving five Stars based on what this place is trying to be. It's good simple food for a fair price. I like the breakfast sandwiches and Cuban coffee.I was surprised to see some of the past reviews complaining about the size of the sandwiches. Where the breakfast sandwiches only three or four dollars, why do you expect it to be a full-size Cuban? Maybe buy 2 if you don't think they're big enough?

It sounded like a good idea, but not so much. I tried a pressed Cuban. I waited forever and when I finally got it, there were no tomatoes, even tho I specifically asked for them, and it was hard as a rock. Service was terrible. On the plus side, I didn't get sick... so far... This was definitely my first and last visit!

Absolute worst food ever recently. I would not feed to my dog, he deserves better. New owners have no concept of proper food prep or cleanliness of the kitchen area. It's pretty hard to cause fountain soda to taste like year old vomit.
The quality of this place has gone way down. They have changed owners so many times but they always make the same food. Rice is not supposed to be crunchy. I went in recently with a group of five people. All of us left there and said we were never coming back. Most of the food is just disgusting these days. I have no idea what they put in the empanadas but they are really gross. I would recommend staying away from this place unless you want to have stomach issues.

I decided to go to this place a couple times and it was always horrible. To start, the atmosphere is very dingy and dirty, and the kitchen/prep area is full of clutter. The employees were rude and charged me the wrong price while proceeding to argue about it - only for me to prove them wrong by doing the math. As for the food, the first time I went I ordered the Italian sandwich. It was packed with a bunch of ham that had gone bad, and ended up making me very sick. I decided to try this place months later and got the French onion soup, which was a cheap tasting cold onion broth in a styrofoam cup with a piece of provalone cheese. A child could make better soup than that. It was truly pitiful and it costed $10. This place is over priced and the food/service are horrible. I don't recommend it at all. The only reason I went here was out of convenience.

I have eaten at this establishment for over 20 years . I've seen a few owners thru the years. I've spent my money here for the last time. Service is horrible and the food is even worse. Quality forget about it. Food tasted old and reheated. Such a shame used to be a great place. Not anymore. Proof is in the lobby. Its always empty....

New owners are wonderful! No more employees being stressed and waiting to be yelled at all day long! They are busy so call ahead if it's lunchtime. Homemade soups year round. Gyro platters and salad, chicken Greek salad with homemade potato salad. I have eaten here for 14 years back when it was sabal cafe and thru the prior owner change when christine took over 3 years ago. The new owners have decluttered and are organized. Lots of specials. Half sandwich and a cup of soup for $5. A bowl of soup for like 3.50. The girls are always friendly and have a smil and will greet you by your name!
