Don’t recommend A5 or Crispy rice… I ordered the A5 Japanese Wagyu and it was completely overcooked. Do not recommend even if the server tells you it’s the best on the menu. We got credited 35$ for a 200$ steak that was completely overcooked. Crispy rice tasted like bbq sauce, not fresh how I’d prefer it.

Staff was rude and unprofessional, denied seating at an empty restaurant claiming they only do reservations and when asked how to make a reservation they responded with a “I don’t know”. At least I know now to never come back here and tell others the same, way better places to eat and spend your money at.

We were traveling and went to this place for some dinner on a Sunday before Memorial Day, late evening, and the girl at the front looked at me up and down because I was wearing shorts and told me she could only sit us outside because I was not wearing long pants. In 2026!!! I get it dress codes are still a thing, but you are in a beach town pretty much. I let it fly. Another girl comes to the podium and we ask her to show us the menu so we could decide if we wanted to be seated. and she literally went like “ugh”. Right there they lost our business and we went to Bartaco across the street where the service was exceptional. You guys get paid because we pay for your food, otherwise you don’t have a business. Rule number one, the client is the boss. Remember that.

The quality of the food is great and so is the flavor. I've had steak and seafood at Meat Market and they were both excellent. The appetizers, side dishes, and deserts have all been excellent as well. The service is friendly and quick. The dinning area is open and spacious which creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The noise level is a bit high but this is a busy restaurant so that is to be expected. We haven't spent any time in the lounge area but that appears very open and welcoming as well. This is a relatively expensive restaurant but not outrageous and the quality of the food justifies the prices. There are less expensive options available as well. This is an overall great place to eat that we have visited several times and look forward to going back.

Meat Market epitomizes class and elegance. I take all of my top business acquaintances, here, and they are always impressed. At this point, I’ve ordered nearly 75% of the menu, and the quality is top-notch across the board. I’m a frequent visitor, and that may never change. Price is very reasonable relative to the ambiance, taste, and service quality.

Their AI answering service is terrible. It will not connect to a person even when it says it will. They don’t respond on open table to modify the reservation. I have 0 way of changing anything when booked.
Our server Logan was AWESOME! If you’re ever in Channelside Tampa and looking for a great place to eat with immaculate service, Meat Market is definitely the spot.
The staff was amazing from start to finish, and I can’t forget my boy Craig 🫡🫡. Great food, great atmosphere, and top-tier hospitality. Highly recommend!

Meat Market is my new all time favorite restaurant in Tampa. The food, cocktails, and service are all amazing! We ordered 3 different steaks and shared amongst our group. Each one was cooked and seasoned perfectly. The wagyu dumpling appetizer was also delicious.
You will definitely need a reservation. It gets very crowded and is a little noisy.
