We came with a group of ladies for a pre-show brunch. Our server, Gabe was amazing. He was attentive and got ever my order correct-- even with multiple different split checks! The food was all delicious as well.

We had an awesome time at the Melting Pot Social. First and foremost, our server Gabe was absolutely wonderful. We ordered several dishes among the seven of us that were split in all different ways and Gabe was able to keep everything straight. He was attentive and funny. The food was delicious, and the portions were just right. We had a delicious brunch right before our afternoon show at the Straz. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This place has a carefully curated menu and cool sounding drinks, but the execution was so far off that it fell flat.We were a large group, and service was good. Our tables were in the front corner and that has to be the worst place to sit, no airflow and super stuffy, making it uncomfortable. The drinks were pretty awful- we tried several different ones and they just didn’t impress. The steak frites was the worst steak I’ve seen in a while. When it was ordered, the waiter didn’t ask how it should he cooked, which was an ominous sign; well, it came out well done with undercooked fries. Total miss. The salmon was good, but could have been better. The sticky ribs were excellent and I highly recommend them- they are spicy though. We ordered both cheese and chocolate fondues and those were really good. The only complaint is the fruit is now cut much smaller, so not that good. Apple slices are comically tiny and the bread doesn’t include bread chunks, which were really good. The chocolate was tasty though.Sangria was boring, their version of a Moscow mule was horrible, but their smoky old fashioned was good- just a tad sweet. All in all, I think they are trying hard, and it has potential/ but they missed the mark on several notes.

Service was great. Food was not fresh. We got the hot honey and the dip was good but the hors d’oeuvres were stale. I do how ever recommend the sticky ribs. Unfortunately low stars because it was $80 and the fondue should have been fresh. Potatoes were stale, bread was cold, came with 3 chips, and broccoli was also cold.

The sticky ribs are amazing! The Monterey is a perfect cheesy fondue. Love the chocolate fondue flaming turtle. It's just delicious! Come during happy hour for sure. You could share 1 full size cheesy fondue easily with some happy hour appetizers. Great service! Perfect dinner spot before a show at the Straz or before a festival at Curtis Hixon. Easy walking distance. Great location.

Our server, Gianna (sp?), was wonderful. However we waited over an hour for cold hard fondue, then another 30min for a replacement (also cold).Apparently 2.5 hours was not enough time to get an entree before a 8pm show. Pathetic representation from a brand I grew up loving.Manager offered a voucher for next time like we would ever go back, place was a hot mess.Pickle fries were good at least?

This was one of the worst experiences that I've had in a while. The bathroom was disgusting, service was very poor, the kitchen was messy and unorganized, we waited for 2 hours for our food, and the cheese in the fondue was not even melted. I will never go here again.

My friends and I made reservations at this restaurant for dinner before a show at the Straz. We were looking forward to the meal because we had eaten here before and everything was amazing. I don't know what changed in the course of a few months because our entire experience from start to finish was awful. Our waiter started off ok taking our drink orders first. He returned in about 15 or so minutes without the drinks to take our dinner orders. My friends ordered a burger and I ordered a fondue dish. We waited about 20 minutes more, and my friends' food came out, and I was assured mine would be brought out next. Our drinks had still not arrived despite being assured that they were being made. We had to ask several people about the drinks and got various answers such as the bar is busy and drinks are backed up and it's out of my control so what can I do? 20 minutes more pass, and several more inquiries are made before we get the drinks, but I don't get my meal. The girl who brought out the drinks almost delivered them to the wrong table, and we had to flag her down. I asked about my food and was told it would come out soon. Our waiter then seemed to avoid us to avoid answering questions about where the food was. My friends had by now finished their burgers. I had to get up, go inside to the hostess, and ask her where my food was. She eventually managed to find it and bring it out. Without the extra chicken, I had ordered to go with it. The fondue tasted horrible, but I was hungry, and we only had a few minutes for me to eat it because of the show. Nothing on the plate seemed like it should have taken long to cook, so I don't understand the delay. The pretzel pieces were cold in the center like they were taken out a freezer and thawed. It's definitely not worth the $16 cost. The server took no accountability for the poor service, instead blaming the kitchen and the bar, etc. While the problems may have been due to the kitchen or bar, the lack of concern for our experience was honestly unprofessional. We should have been offered something to make the experience right. We will not be back, and this restaurant is not recommended.

Not sure why this place had such a high rating. Went before going to the Straz, food was super mediocre at best and overpriced. Burger was very low quality, cheese was decent. Wife got the flatbread and it was trash. Place is mediocre for the price. Waiter was nice but also slow since everybody goes at the same time before the shows.

Really great food. They were able to work with my allergies and let me double up on something I could eat (not all places will do this). Service was great and attentive. Prices were WAY better than other fondue places. Will definitely be returning.Dessert was so good we didn't think to take a picture until it was almost all gone. You can see how much we enjoyed it!Make sure to get a reservation!!Dietary restrictions: I have several allergies and they worked with them.

For a fondue restaurant I would think the quality of cheese would be higher, also portions very small. Overall it's ok...

I've never had fondue before. I got the cheese fondue and it was delicious. Staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Food came out fast. My only complaint is the lack of parking and/or paid parking.

The food is always great here, but today was spectacular because of our server, Johnny. He was attentive and engaging. Paid special attention to what we ordered because we made a couple of substitutions. Hope you do well in your new endeavor, Johnny. Merari and

Good Food, Good Price - Prior experience at fondue restaurants was not good, but this is an exception. First, service is fast – no long waits on the kitchen. Second, there are a large number of flavor options: cheese, mixings, and dippers. Third, reasonable prices – nice entrée for under $20. It’s a great option for dinner prior to a Straz performance – short walk away, good prices, and better fodd than closer restaurants.
