I usually hate giving out low star reviews but I just couldn’t bring myself to not mention something about this place.Was from out of town and was really craving some pozole. Someone had mentioned good pozole based in the reviews, so figured I’d come in and give it a try. $39 later I was extremely disappointed in the food and price.I got a taco dinner with a side of rice and beans, a horchata and pozole. That’s it! The pozole was a GREASY mess, zero flavor. The steak tacos had little to no seasoning. The only thing “good” about the meal was the rice and beans and horchata.For what I paid…it was extremely under my expectations. Living right on the border of Chicago, I’m blessed with AMAZING Mexican spots all over the city. Was hoping Tampa didn’t let me down…but this spot did.Hopefully it was just a one off thing but can’t say I’d come back here if I was ever in the area again.

Great authentic Mexican restaurant. These guys are the real deal. Definitely should try it. Their street tacos are amazing and they actually have lengua tacos which are my favorite.

I wish I took pictures of the food! Everything was so delicious. The fact they had tortas was what called us in. The meat was fresh and seasoned very well. We were able to place our order online, and because they didn't have a certain meat we ordered they called to let us know and pick which we would like instead which I thought was great customer service. Very friendly when you walk in. A hidden gem! I will definitely be back to try more of what they offer. It's hard to find very good Mexican food.

First time going there and last time . I ordered steak, steak was only an inch long it was small pieces not worth the money !Not to mention the food had no taste this was not an Authentic Mexican Restaurant and the Woman serving the drinks was rude. Don't Recommend this place.

Huge portion on their fish Tacos, I was thoroughly impressed, only complaint is torta didn't have avocado. Still rated five stars because food was fresh and I didn't read the menu to well just ordered to meet my Macros since I was behind schedule. If it cost an extra for avocado I can live with that.

Let me open with the food was good. I placed an order online that included Queso Dip. It did not mention chips, so I added a note stating that I hoped chips were included. I did not receive chips with my order. I called regarding the chips and was told they are not included with a Queso order, There was no response regarding the note when I mentioned it. If someone would have contacted me regarding my note about the chips, I would have paid for the chips just to we could enjoy the Queso which does taste delicious. I cannot think of a place that I have eaten or ordered from that DID NOT provide chips with a Queso order. That would be a fairly inexpensive change to avoid frustration for your customer. Great customer service makes all the difference in recommending a restaurant. Thank you.
