If I could give 10 stars, I would.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Michael's Grill cater our wedding, and they truly exceeded every expectation. Located in the heart of Carrollwood next to Tampa Wine Room, where we held our reception, they were the perfect fit for our celebration.

Joe and his team did an exceptional job from start to finish. The food was outstanding, beautifully prepared, and served with such care. Our guests could not stop talking about it and kept going back for more. Several people told us they plan to come back and dine there, which says everything.

We are so grateful for the incredible service and delicious food that helped make our wedding day so special. Highly recommend for both dining and catering your next event.

Michael's is one of the best values in the area. They offer simple, excellently executed food amidst an intimate setting that is neither pretentious nor careless. Friendly and attentive staff (our server, Megan, was great!). Our visit was to celebrate an anniversary, so we splurged a bit. However, one could have a great entree without the added items (e.g., appetizer, dessert, and adult beverage) for a reasonable price.

Servers were great, food was great, seating was too compressed (wife's seat was hit multiple times), really enjoyed the atmosphere!

It was a week night, and quiet. The service team was as always very attentive. Made the cocktails and brought the wine timely. The fried zucchini are the best. We had wonderful yellow tail snapper, duck and the nightly special grouper. The bread is always wonderful, A truly calming, enjoyable evening with our out of town guests.

First visit ti Michael's Grill. We ordered the filet and the Salmon. My wife ordered her filet medium well, but it was between maximum rare and medium. The salmon was to my liking. Our server was pleasant but did not stop by after serving meal to ask if the meal was to our liking or for refills. The place was lively. Nice place for a meal, but not for a romantic dinner.

A bit of a hidden gem in this part of Tampa !! Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience. Unfortunately, the Key West Fish Spread appetizer was not available, so we had the She Crab Bisque instead, which was excellent. For our entrees we had the Island Lemon Grouper Bowl and the Wasabi Crusted Tuna. The fish itself in both cases was excellent, but were a bit let down by the accompanying rice and seasonal (green bean and broccoli) vegetables, which seemed rather bland in contrast. Portion sizes were reasonable. Prices seemed relatively high, even recognizing that costs for good quality fish have increased significantly. If we are back in that part of Tampa, we'd certainly consider a return visit.

Michael's is our go-to place for great dinners and special occasions. This dinner was no different. Excellent and friendly service. Food cooked and prepared to perfection. We had our usual favorite of steak au poivre, which was cooked perfectly to our medium rare request, topped with crispy thin onions and accompanied by a generous portion of smooth garlic whipped potatoes and fresh cooked vegetables. We made a special off-menu appetizer request 2 days ahead of our reservation and it was met and prepared to perfection -- the best we have had anywhere. In just about any restaurant of this quality in New York City all of the patrons certainly would be expected to wear nice dresses for women and sport coat and tie for men. As fairly typical west coast Floridians who hate to get dressed up, we really appreciate being able to have an excellent dining experience in a casual Florida environment with casual dress being the norm.
