Ordered bottle of wine, cavatelli and dessert. Cavatelli was 95% pasta, 3 small pieces of shrimp and few tiny bay scallops. I just a little portion then went home hungry.

Food was filling but sadly, it didn’t really blow me away. Service and ambience were exceptional. The food presentation was great.. If they could elevate the flavor of their dishes, this place could be amazing, they’re just lacking the wow factor behind their food. I will return to try more of their menu and maybe update this review in the near future

Have been in Tampa for almost a year and last night was the first time to enjoy Mise en Place. What an incredible experience from the bar cocktails to the food and service, everything was incredible!! While touted as “American” fare, it is so much more! Can’t wait to see what they do in the new Ybor location!!

Very average food for the price. Dry chicken and brussel sprouts tasted boiled and flavorless. Not terrible by any means but expected better for the current rating and price paid.
