Where do I begin? Maybe with the beautiful atmosphere that makes it a perfect date destination. Or perhaps the sophisticated epicurean delight of the menu. Or perhaps the unbelievable hospitality of the servers. Or perhaps lastly, how the executive chef came out and greeted us personally. My wife said to me “don’t take me anywhere else. Forgot all these new places. Bring me here.”
Very romantic and fancy restaurant perfect for special occasions. The food however was a bit underwhelming for me. The smoked salmon amuse bouche was the best thing we had during the meal. We ordered the tartine and I felt it had a bit much of the white sauce on the bottom that it overpowered the mushrooms on top. Then we ordered the lamb because it is one of their most popular dishes but I was not very impressed. It’s a solid rack of lamb don’t get me wrong, it just seemed...
We had a 745pm reservation last night and we were not seated until just past 815pm. Host said they had large parties and were doing there best. Offered us to wait at the bar area or by host area. We couldn't wait in bar area nor get anything to drink so we waited by the host stand. She eventually brought us menu to look at but that just really bothered us as I felt rushed and I'm not even seated yet. The smart thing to have done would have been to bring us a drink menu...
