Every time I go to Tampa for training me and my colleagues make sure we go to mission BBQ. We even put in orders to sit in for lunch and take out for dinner. Love that this franchise honors our service men and woman. Hope they can provide a benefit for immediate family as well. Other than that ... GOTO Mission BBQ whenever you find one. (p.s. I am not getting paid for this commentary)
I hate to give this place anything less than 5 stars but the last 3 times I’ve been there have been awful. Most recently, I went there and orders lean brisket and was literally given 2 huge chunks of fat. I’ve never seen anything like it. How can they even serve that if I asked for moist. No QC. So I called just tell them and they transferred me a manager who was so apologetic and said she remembered. Said she would refund the brisket immediately. Never happened.

Best chain BBQ restaurant I've tried. My favorite is the brisket. But, all meats are delicious and sides are on point. Then finished off with the crazy good desert....any of them. Love the patriotic vibe.
