Very glad to find this place.. needed a home cooked meal and what better way to satisfy that by stopping thru Mr Bs. I'm not from Florida but I'll definitely return when I'm around. Food was great service and atmosphere are 10 out of 10 👍

Even though the food was delicious, they charged me $28 for a plate and a drink. It was supposed to be smotherd pork chops, they gave me 1 small pork chop on my $28 dollar plate, definitely won’t be going back, especially not for $28 for a plate that’s crazy. Food was good but for that price you lost a customer.

Me and wife wanted some southern food and decided to try Mr B’s. We both had the oxtails and Mac n cheese and collard greens. The food was very good! No complaints with the quality. The collard greens were a very nice surprise !!!! Only issue I had was the portions. Don’t get me wrong they weren’t stingy but for what your paying there are other establishments that are as good who give much more food for less price. If they had dropped another spoonful or 2 I would have given 5 stars but can’t bring myself to do that for what I left with after what I paid.

The grits reminded me of back home in Georgia — creamy and full of comfort. The bacon was crispy and delicious, just the way we like it, and the sausage was spot on too. My son couldn’t get enough of the cinnamon bun waffles — he said they were “bussin’!” Five stars every time. You can really taste the love in the food, and we love the love. ❤️ I had to call the store and tell them how much I’ve enjoyed my food even tho I haven’t dine in yet, I spoke to Zack he excited to hear my experience via delivery orders… I’ll be dining in very soon. Thank you again for the delicious food.

Ok world. You absolutely MUST go enjoy this amazing Soul Food Treasure in Tampa. We had the hot chicken and waffles, Mac n cheese, and peach cobbler.
It was THE VERY BEST I’ve ever had. The restaurant is warm, clean and friendly. Everything on the menu is amazing. Zack, the server/greeter/cashier/host extraordinaire took extra care to make us feel welcomed.

This is it a very modern caribbean cuisine restaurant. I think their success, maybe a detriment to their service. So many people were wanting their food. Very hardworking and friendly, though... I will try again. But today was not a good day. Atmosphere is nice....It was just so noisy because of so many people, I couldn't hear person across the table talking to me very well.

My aunt and I went for a bite to eat yesterday she got the Turkey Meatloaf with Collard Greens and Yams. I got the Chicken Wings with Lima Beans and Mac & Cheese. Everything was delicious. The collards tasted like somebody’s auntie was back there. Can’t wait to try breakfast and if you’re lucky enough to get Jordan as your server. That should put your experience over the top!

We came to Tampa, FL for the 49ers/Bucs game (Go 9ers), and decided to indulge in some Southern cuisine. Mr. B’s did not disappoint. Every plate was delicious (especially the fried shrimp and breakfast potatoes), but the BEST part was the top-tier customer service provided by Mr. Zack! From the moment we entered the restaurant to our departure…Exemplary service! We certainly felt like favorites while dining there. We left feeling like we were Mr. B’s favorites! Thank you for the experience. Highly recommend! 10/10

Tried Mr B's Restaurant, on a whim after googling for a good place to eat breakfast. Located on North Nebraska Ave in Tampa. Not disappointed! Exterior not impressive but when you walk through the door, you find a really (REALLY, REALLY) inviting place, beautifully decorated and welcoming. Jordan, my waiter, got it all right and I was soon enjoying grits and eggs over-easy + smoked sausage + biscuits + french toast made with Cuban bread & adorned with a delectable sweet cream, powdered sugar and cinnamon. Yes, too much but sssooo worth it! Definitely recommend!
