Mr. Dunderbak's Biergarten and Brewery

We came here on a Friday night, so it was a little busy and we had to wait ~25 minutes for a table, which was totally fine. Inside smells.. bad to say the least - like a mildewy, rotting scent. I am very disappointed in the service we received here. We were seated, and SEVERAL tables (4+ just in our own section) seated much later than us got their orders taken and/or received their food way before us. We waited 40 minutes for our food, and our waiter was impossible to flag down to even get our order taken. When we got our food, it was lukewarm. The food is what you’d expect of German bar food. I liked what I got, which was the Zigeuner Schnitzel with spicy sour cream sauce and the warmed potato salad. Overall, I probably wouldn’t go here again unless some friends REALLY wanted to. Food was average, vibes were off, and service was trash. My boyfriend has been here a couple times and said it’s not usually like this, so give it a chance if you really like German food I guess - although I personally wouldn’t.

Me and my husband got recommended to come here while we were in Florida visiting. I would say the environment is immersive and the food was not disappointing. We got the potato pancakes appetizer 10/10, pretzel with cheese 7/10, Bavarian sausage 4/10 (was dry), perogies 7/10 (neutral), schitznel pork 7/10, German chocolate cake 8/10!

Unfortunately, my recent visit to this establishment left a lot to be desired. The overall cleanliness was concerning, with condensation dripping onto my food and a general grime on many surfaces. I sincerely hope it doesn't lead to anyone falling ill.
While they offered a wide selection of craft beers, the sheer volume made it overwhelming and difficult to navigate. It felt a bit disorganized, making it hard to identify specific beers and their styles.
The food itself was alright, but nothing particularly memorable.
The bartender provided excellent service, but the person at the door was oddly rude to me while being pleasant to others. I'm not sure what prompted this behavior.
Given these factors, I likely won't be returning on my next visit to town.

Love the place love the rustic atmosphere. The schnitzel was really good along with the the Pierogies and Pommes Frittes. Our server Will took great care of us

So freaking good! I had jägerschnitzel with mushroom gravy, but everything we ordered was delicious. ? I want some now :( We went on trivia night, which was fun!! Our server was awesome, and he made excellent recommendations. Lots of European candies, snacks, goodies, and good beer!! If you like schnitzel you will enjoy Mr. Dunderbak's.

The general manager was demeaning to us. We bought $200 worth of beer and he made us feel stupid for asking about pricing. Love dunderbaks I have been going my whole life but never felt so disrespected at a restaurant before.

Great food, great service, Jackson took care of us really well. Love the mini store inside the restaurant. The Don Von Bomb sandwich is amazing! Can’t go wrong with a Oktoberfest beer!

Always have great service and food. The pastrami is my favorite!
