Very good local chain here in Tampa. Mr. Empanada is known for their excellent empanadas and most of their orders are takeout. The restaurant itself is somewhat dull, but still a good place to eat. The service was excellent and was very timely with our orders.

Always gotta stop here when I come to Tampa!! Best empanadas anywhere! I always get to the traditional beef ones I can't remember what they're called, but this time I decided to also try something different, I got the buffalo chicken one which I was definitely skeptical about but it wound up being really good. If you live in Tampa and like empanadas then you know Mr. Empanada is the place to go. Specifically, the location on Kennedy Blvd is heads and tails above the rest. The team led by Jenn, Lisa, Nick and Tyler always deliver and make you feel like you are part of the family. They are simply the best!
