What a waste! The meat was overcooked and mushy. The meat was flavorless and definitely needed a whole lot of love. (Seasoning)

As someone who is a taco connoisseur…I am so disappointed. I will never eat at this place again and I do not recommend. As Ramsey would say “what a shame…..where are your standards! “

Stopped in on a roadtrip with a friend for lunch and ended up picking this spot due to the long line (must mean it’s good, right?). We ended up waiting for about 10 mins and dang was it worth it. We both got bowls with a side of queso & guac & street corn! Super kind customer service and all around great food!! Reasonably priced. Can’t wait to come back on the next road trip!!

I visited this establishment on January 23, 2026, I was walking around trying to decide what I wanted for lunch. This lady must have seen the perplexed look on my face as I was looking at the menu and she said oh you want to order the birria tacos. I asked why those,? She had told me they are the best you’ll ever have or I’ll buy your lunch. So I took her on the challenge and I ordered the birria tacos. These birria tacos were truly a treat – the succulent, flavorful beef was expertly seasoned with a variety of spices, encased in a crispy corn tortilla, and topped with gooey melted cheese, creating a burst of flavor with every bite. The highlight was the rich, savory consommé that enhanced the experience, adding depth when you dipped the taco for that perfect crunch. It's a must-try for anyone seeking a satisfying, indulgent, and delicious taco experience! I had seen the lady sitting at a table and thanked her for the delicious recommendation, come to find out she works at the establishment and was enjoying lunch with her family. Ann thank you again, I will be back.

Parking: The parking lot was available for 10.00. Parking was right across from the building. It was convenient. A clear sidewalk would have been nice to walk down the parking lot to get to the building.

I don’t even know how this place can be categorized as a Mexican restaurant. This was by far the most inauthentic food I’ve ever had. The steak in my tacos was mostly fat, the tortillas were clearly store-bought and terrible, and overall, the flavors were just completely off. I ordered three tacos, and not a single one was decent. If you’re expecting real Mexican food, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. I tried this via Uber Eats, and I will never make that mistake again.

I’m new to the Tampa Bay Area, and I never been to Amateur Works. There are a lot of various places to eat . However, I came across Muchachas ! I ordered the Birria tacos with street corn . The food was amazing and the service was great! I can back a second time with a wonderful experience! If you want to try wonderful street tacos and more check them out.

Ordered via UberEats. By far the worst food I’ve ordered, especially for the price. I got a “bogo” streetcorn dish with steak which portions were small but easily for one person each. Absolutely no flavor even added the guac and lime with the cotija cheese. Steak was by far the blandest steak Ive tasted, let alone the quality of the steak. Unfortunately the “Bigole Burrito” (steak) was exactly the same which was surprising since there were so many other ingredients to make the flavors pop. Absolutely none. Only taste was Cilantro. Didn’t even know I had steak in one of my bites because there was no dominating factor which would tell me so. I spent $46 for a “Bigole Burrito”, and a “bogo” small portion of street corn with steak. Joke is on me

If you haven’t tried a walking taco, then this is the best place to try for the first time. Their hefty portions make this dish shareable with a friend! There’s so many toppings like fresh guac, beans, cojita cheese and more! I was kinda worried about the crushed Doritos but it actually pairs great with the whole meal! I can’t wait to visit again and try their other offerings.
Service was quick despite the long line and it’s housed inside of a food hall with lots of seating inside or outside in the beautiful weather
