i came for a sandwich during lunch and knew i needed to come back. first if all i was expecting bone to be in the chicken and pork sandwiches and wasnt dissuaded because it was soooo good.this i believe was oxtail but i dont remember. the whold plate was bomb as fuhk. im not that keen on super sweet cornbread but it cut into the richness of the whole dish.the ambiance is a vibe i strive for. just vibe here. pure vibes. the staff and clientele here are all super sweet

Very nice people but I guess it’s new or disorganized or something. I was very upset when I left today because I spent $6 on 1 taco which is already over priced. Their juicer was down so couldn’t get a juice. So I got to the office and opened up my food. Asked for the sauces on the side and they were not. (Not a huge deal) the guacamole was disgusting. It was bad and the taco was soggy. (Duh) unfortunately there was no saving that taco the guacamole got all over and i had to throw it away. $6 down the drain and a hungry tummy.

New Soul Restaurant was open today and I was in the mood for a real home-cooked meal. I enjoyed White meat fried chicken with rice and gravy, a side of green beans, and lemonade. Best $10 I spent all week. Nothing fancy, just good soul food and very friendly smiles, and that's what makes this restaurant special. Located at 518 N Willow Ave, Tampa. Hours listed on sign as Wed to Friday 8 to 5. Limited menu so be ready to enjoy whatever the specials might be. Limited seating and parking so I took mine to go. Change your routine and skip the drive thru. Give New Soul a try, or drop by again if you are a returning customer.
