This is the best Venezuelan restaurant ever. My American born daughter in law craves for arepa de pabellón. I discovered that their black roast arepa is the best in the world! TATIANA IS THE GREATEST! The service and quality is impeccable. I recommend it 120%.

I’ll start by saying I’m Venezuelan, I have been living in Tampa for 8 years and I have seen this place grow. I just had lunch and it was hands down the worst Venezuelan meal I’ve had in Tampa. Ordered a sampler, the $47 parrilla, and an arepa with pork and queso guayanes.1. The arepa: it was soggy, they messed it up and put gouda cheese instead of guayanes and change it leaving gouda all over the pork. The pork was dry and tasteless.2. Sampler: Arepas were soggy, the cachapa sticked to the paper it comes with. In general this was the best plate we had which was below average.3. The $47 parrilla: do yourself a favor and don’t get it. It is 90% fried carbs, 5% Chicken, 4% pork, 1% steak. Leaving pictures for you to see what I’m talking about. It was supposed to come with sausage and it didn’t. Every meat was dry.To be clear, we were the only table in the restaurant. They only had 1 server who was clearly slammed with to go orders. And the restaurant was dirty. This restaurant used to be one of my favorite places to go. It has gone down to a point this is the last time I visit them.

Venezuelan food! Arepas are the perfect texture I prefer-crunchy and the size and stuffing is great enough for a solo “big appetite”!

I ordered to go and when I got home I got one very burned arepa, this is very disappointing because for the price I paid, they should not be serving what they wouldn't eat themselves. Also, my husband's arepa had a guacamole spread instead of plain slice avocados. Both arepa weren't worth it. My burned arepa end up in the garbage because the strong burn flavor wasn't tolerable. Please take care of the to go orders is very sad to make it home and not having an eadible meal.

Food is good. Place pretty decent too. And so is the service. However, we asked for a vegetarian cachapa. The server said they can add all veggies without telling us they cost extra. We ended up paying $6 worth of toppings on a $15 cachapa without knowing. This should have been made clear especially when two pieces of tomatoes and two pieces of lettuce cost $2. I guess that's inflation...in some ways it's my fault not to have clarified prior.Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian items but they charge arm and leg for veggies, ends up being more expensive than meat.

It is Mexican food mixed with Venezuelan, the portions of meat are very small, the sauce and the preparation is Mexican without chili, the 18% charge for the service is rude and the prices are very high, we Tequeños hate old empanadas, they should hire a Venezuelan cook and Venezuelan waiters are more attentive, without decoration and they serve in plastic cups, the service is very bad, only the manager came up to say hello, the waitress forgets the order and they serve the food with a difference of 10 minutes, everyone must be served together to eat looks like a fast food restaurant
