Food when we got it the first time, was good, but the hours they are ACTUALLY OPEN NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED. We went based off of the Facebook hours of operation and they were CLOSED. Another customer (Uber eats)came to pickup food only to see my husband's and I outside trying to look inside the CLOSED restaurant.
We had a fantastic lunch at Nilsa's. It has such a welcoming feel and some great food. I would say some of the very best aroz con gandules that I have had. It's conveniently located right next to Busch Gardens for an easy stop before going to or after the parks.
We are locals and had driven by this spot several times..finally did and it was amazing!! I had the pastelon was really good. My husband had alcapurrias, bacalaitos and relleno de papa all delicious!!. My mother inlaw had the pernil with arroz con gandules. The pork was tender, flavorful and juicyThe place was nice and clean loved the PR theme on the walls and all around. Not crowded which I loved. Overall it was a great experience will definitely be returning!
