Haven’t been here for a year. I think this is under new owner. I didn’t have a great experience. Food came out warm, close to cold and no flavor. The food also didn’t come all at once some of us had to wait, we were don’t eating and then the other plates came out. The two young people serving were kind no complain there. Just the food. Sadly we won’t be coming here. Hopefully they find the flavor and put it back on the food lol

Horrible experience! Came here with the family at 7:30pm and there were only 3 other tables in the entire restaurant that came in AFTER us. Each table was served their food, drinks, and checks all while I still didn’t receive my order as well as 3 other of my family members. When their food came out it was cold as if it was sitting there for a while. Asked the waitress after an hour of waiting for my food if an eta of when my dish will be coming out, in which the waitress looked wry confused. She asked what I ordered and I told her Lomo. She said it’ll be out in 5 minutes. 20 more minutes later (and about 5 online orders fulfilled before us), I still didn’t receive my order and asked yet again. She tells me “10-15 more minutes because lomo takes a little longer to cook”. I told her to cancel my order as every single table in the restaurant finished eating and I still yet to have my food. She brings the check and tells me “sorry for the inconvenience, I took off the sauce for you”…… like really… the sauce?!! The sauce that I didn’t get to use for my food! Will never return to this place again and I’ve been here plenty of times.

The food is Delicious , We ordered Ceviche, 1/4 chicken, Chicken Chaufa & , Saltado de pollo , We arrived around 5 pm & not too crowded , The 2 servers on the floor were very nice and helpful, Eat here u will not regret it , My 1st visit & definitely not the last one , The chaufa rice had eggs which many other restaurants skip on, The taste is very authentic

My family and I have been loyal customers of Norkys for the past 23 years. This place has always held a special place in our hearts, the seasoning, the flavors, the memories it brought us from back home in Peru. That’s the only reason we’ve tolerated so much over the years.But enough is enough. The service has always been slow, and the food often takes forever. We put up with it because of the taste and out of loyalty. Thankfully, there was always Sofia, friendly, warm, and the one bright spot who kept that place bearable.A few months ago, I ordered a quarter chicken and it was undercooked. I complained immediately, but nothing was done. No apology. No replacement. No accountability. This is not how things should work, this is the United States, and customers deserve better. In any decent establishment, you fix the plate or take it off the bill. I wasn’t asking for free food, just basic respect and proper service. Lately, I’ve been ordering takeout, and it’s been worse. The chicken portions are tiny, dry, burnt, almost unrecognizable. And shockingly, the owner is the one handing out these orders. If that’s the standard she’s setting, it explains a lot.
After 23 years, I’m sad to say I’ll be taking my business across the street to Pollo Rocoto. It’s clear Norkys has lost the care and pride it once had.

The best pollo à la Brasa in town. And the best aji ( green sauce) and Evelyn is the best she has been serving us my family for years and always treats us like family.

Food is always delicious. The service has improved drastically in recent years. Staff in the past was often rude and seemed bothered to wait on you or do their jobs. Now they are very kind and accommodating. Huge difference! It sometimes feels like waiters take a long time to get to you, especially when it comes time for the check, but that could just be because they seem to be short-staffed at times. The atmosphere could use some maintenance. They have decorations from past holidays still up all at once - Valentine's Day, Christmas... But outside of that, it never seems dirty, it's not usually loud, you feel comfortable being there. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. We've been going here for years.

This place has the BEST Peruvian Pollo a la brasa chicken !!!! This is Coming from a Peruvian !! Everything about it hits perfect !! The green sauce 10/10 rotisserie chicken 10/10 fries 10/10 !!! The place could use some remodeling to look better !! But the chicken does it for me I will be back 1000 times more.

Delicious food from Peru, I recommend the leche de tigre cocktail, it goes very well with the main course, the careful attention made me feel very good

Had placed a take out order ( 20 min wait time ) .. When I had arrived ( about 25
Minutes after ordering over the phone) was told it was coming right out so I paid and waited.. about 15 minutes later still waiting and a family of 4 came in to sit down and eat. They had got their food after 20 minutes of waiting ( at this point it’s about an hour.) so I ask for a refund.. have to wait another 10 to 15 minute for the refund . Extremely frustrated at this point! Then was told if I want to wait another 10 min for the food. This place wasn’t even busy inside nor to go orders. Aside from family of 4 there was no foot traffic for over 40 minutes . Horrible experience. No accountability. The food is above average . But if your looking to order expect long wait times

They definitely have the best Peruvian food in the Tampa area .. I usually get the chairs mixto and the whole chicken and it has always been on point
