Ate here for dinner on our honeymoon. Our server Travis was awesome. Vibes were great, and the mussels on special were a highlight. Food was fresh and delicious. Would definitely come back!

We visited this amazing restaurant on our first night in Tampa (Jay was our server) and decided to eat here again on our second and last night. Whilst the food was as innovative and delicious as the night before, the service at table 12 was poor. Yes, we were asked about whether the food was good, but otherwise the attention and sincerity that was present on our first visit was sadly lacking; e.g. we were given the check even before asking for it when we still had 1/2 a bottle of wine to drink. Such a shame!

My wife and I ate here the other night. Oak & Ola has a fantastic location with ample indoor and outdoor seating with the Hillsborough river in view.. Our server was great fun and very knowledgeable. The menu consists of a nice variety of scratch made dishes that are promptly prepared and beautifully presented. We will definitely return.

We had such a wonderful dining experience at Oak & Ola. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted us warmly, and throughout the night the manager also came by to check in, which made the evening feel extra special.
Our server, Felix, was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive without being overbearing. He guided us through the menu with great recommendations, and everything we tried was spot on. We started with a couple of appetizers—the olives, the pinchos, and some of the special drinks—which were a great way to begin the night. For dinner, we had the hanger steak and the Spanish octopus, both cooked perfectly and full of flavor. To finish, Felix recommended the Basque cheesecake, and it was the perfect balance—light, creamy, and absolutely delicious.
The service and food were equally excellent, and the overall atmosphere made for a memorable evening. Oak & Ola is definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to and recommending to friends.

Our family and friends were once frequent patrons of Oak & Ola, but recent events have made it impossible for us to continue supporting this establishment. Chef Scott Morningstar, a key member of the leadership team, has publicly condoned and even applauded the recent assassination of Charlie Kirk. His support for such an abhorrent act, which advocates for violence and mass shootings, is both disturbing and deeply troubling. This behavior is incompatible with basic human decency and raises serious concerns for anyone considering dining at Oak & Ola. Despite multiple requests for comment, the restaurant has failed to issue any statement, choosing instead to remain silent on the matter. We are appalled by this lack of accountability and will be taking this issue to local journalists to ensure the public is made aware of this dangerous stance. The support of violence by an employee of Oak & Ola reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole. We urge potential patrons to consider the ethical implications of supporting a business that tolerates such behavior.

I’ve eaten at Oak and Ola multiple times because the location is so great and the atmosphere is so cozy. I’ve had Johnny as my server a few times and he’s awesome! He has great menu knowledge and makes great recommendations he also makes a mean cappuccino😋☕️ I like to try something new on the menu everytime I go with everything being so yummy. Last time I went was for brunch and I got the chicken salad sandwhich which was soooo delicious!! If you’re going to get dessert you have to try the toffee cake!

I hope that guy who is celebrating murder loses his job.
One of their line cooks and the owner were laughing and joking about the Charlie Kirk assassination.. in poor taste would be an understatement, I do not recommend anybody to eat here
Very nice experience here at the Armature Works area. The filet mignon from the specials menu was very good. As was the salmon and cheese burger from regular menu both of those were nice portions. Travis was our server, he did an excellent job answering questions about menu items and wasn’t afraid to give his opinion. He even brought us sourdough bread upon our request without hesitation. Now it’s time to enjoy the Riverwalk here in Tampa.
