Oak and Ola is highly recommended restaurant if you are in the Tampa downtown area . This restaurant is part of the Armature works complex and provides a good option of indoor and outdoor seating with a good view . We started off with a few appetizers like the Pommes Frites, Charred Brussels Sprouts and the Lamb with the pita option. Highly recommend the Charred Brussels Sprouts . In the main course I had the hanger steak. It was juicy and good portion . In the desert round I had the Chocolate mouse . There are a lot of options for drinks and we choose a bottle of Cab. Lot of parking space around that restaurant and recommend for a nice meal

25th wedding anniversary. Food was bland. Unseasoned. Served so late!!! We loved this place in the past, but not anymore. It's frustrating to see table after table after you and get their food while you continue to be ignored. My wife and her friend experienced the same crappy service one week prior. Has this place changed hands? We had to talk to a waiter who pretty much ignored us. Twice to a manager who tried tried to placate us with free drinks and desert. Finally a young hostess who could do nothing to help. I don't mind paying extra for great food! I will even put up with late great food. But this was ridiculous!

Had not been to O&O in probably a year or more. Had a coworker in town and wanted to show him a neat venue like Armature and enjoy a delicious meal before the weather gets bonkers hot. I have had many delicious experiences at O & O in the past and thought it would be a great choice. Unfortunately to my surprise, I felt like the quality of the food had gone down drastically.
We started with the meatballs appetizer. The meatballs tasted bland and the sauce didn't seem authentic or freshly made. Reminded me of swedish cocktail meatballs you would find at a party and scoop out of a crockpot.
Ordered a burger for my entree. I always say, you can't really mess up a burger 😭 well I was wrong. First, the patty was thin and flat, when I think of a restaurant Burger I anticipate getting a meaty robust patty, unless it states smashburger. Asked for the burger to be medium, first burger was well done. Sent it back and the second burger was rare in some spots and again lacked flavor like the meatballs.
Nothing is more sad to me then a disappointing culinary experience. The server was kind enough to convey my disappointment to the manager who sincerely and graciously came to our table to apologize and took the burger off of our check. We still left the server a tip for what would have been the total of the bill had they not taken off the burger.
Might try again, but I also know I can get better food from the various vendors inside the Armature food hall. 😞

This restaurant was as the description said “hip”. The atmosphere here was really nice felt elevated ,the decor and the environment was very nice. Very modern gave impression of upscale without the upscale price. We did have to wait quite a while to put in our drinks and a little bit more than what we’re used to at other places for the food to come out, but everything was clean ,they cleaned up the table as you were finished, and the drinks were well made solid four stars just for the atmosphere, environment alone, and the drinks!

Great location, terrible food. I ordered the roast beef sandwich. It was cold, and the meat was in big chunks. I could only eat half and the waitress took my half plate and did not return the boxed leftover. The potatoes were burned too. Nice place to visit, but don't expect excellent food, just ok food.

Called and made reservation for 7pm but itas almost 8pm and the restaurant still doesn't have a table for me. We arrived at 6:30pm. We have been waiting at the restaurant entrance for more than an hour already. Awful service. They should not rake reservation over the phone if they don't have room. My family and I drove 40 minutes to eat here and this is so rude from the restaurant. We will never come back here.

Too noisy. It's a hot spot! Everyone Loved their food! Our party was sort of a real pain, but the staff never batted an eye. The salmon was divine!
Parking: The building used to be the pump house for Tampa, but the cool old machinery is gone. The first were all open, so it got chilly.
Kid-friendliness: They never batted an eye. But I would not call this place a family place.
The server sneaked away with my fries. He knew I was not done. Not cool

I went on the spur of the moment, I happened to be in the area. I am so glad I did. I was taken great care of by Christopher. Fabulous guy, friendly, attentive, amenable, sincere and genuine. I ordered Octopus and Chorizo. If I was on death row - this would be my last meal request. Chablis to drink, what more could a person want? Great location, great food and drink, even better service.
