One of the best if not the best bistro I've been to in a long time. Very cozy out of the way place. Strictly word of mouth type of place and it's worth it. The Chef/ owner is amazing with the dishes. I highly recommend you go here and experience this place. I had a great time and the food was fabulous. One of the few places that has a sushi chef all the way from Japan who makes to die for sushi. Man just go check them out you won't be sorry🌀❤️

Thought I’d reviewed this place before but apparently I haven’t. Been here a few times for lunch, happy hour, and dinner, and it’s always phenomenal. The chef is from Japan and it shows in the quality, taste, and authenticity. Combine that with a killer eclectic beer selection and an awesome fusion menu and you won’t find anything like it in all of Tampa. It’s easily one of the most unique restaurants one can find here.

11/10 this place is a hidden gem inside old Seminole heights. Come early or make reservations because it's small and quaint. The service is phenomenal, Phil, the owner, is a pure delight with his passion for food, and just wonderful conversations. The food is out of this world, there isn't a single thing on the menu that isn't made with passion, and dedication to presentation and flavor.

Me and the bro’s are there every Thursday.. Definitely a place to check out in the heights. I’ve been in the SSH my whole life, I’m about to be 43. I’m glad there here in Seminole Heights.

Great find in Seminole Heights. I loved the variety and the menu. So many great Japanese and American options. Sandwiches are big and the Japanese entree options are also a great size. We ordered the steak sandwiches and the Japanese Curry. All very good!
Service was provided by one of the owners and he was so courteous and attentive. We enjoyed learning more about his business and the story behind the menu.
Ambiance is very casual and the restaurant is more of a tiny local hole-in-the-wall gem, but well-decorated despite its simplicity. A really good spot for lunch in the area.
We're coming back :)

What a gem! Came to check out their dinner menu (I’ve been for lunch before) and had the most amazing experience. Our bartender was extremely friendly and helpful and we even met one of the owners and chatted with him for a bit. It was great from start to finish and we can’t wait to go back again. The food was spectacular!!!

food 5/5: order the shiu mai, the Portobello stack, the Japanese curry, and the fillet mignon. does she? I was on special and it was OK. There was no sauce that went with it. It was kind of dry. And the size was very small. The portobello stack was great! Very flavorful the mushrooms were cooked until tender. I really enjoyed that appetizer. The Japanese curry was super flavorful and had a lot of umami. There was pieces of pork within the sauce. It was a great dish. Great classic! I also over the filet mignon that was cooked perfectly and flavored so well! and the risotto was amazing! I usually don’t like risotto, but this risotto was great!
service 4/5: food came out slow, took a long time to get water. it was busy though. there was only one server. however he was very kind. I think he’s possibly the owner or manager?
ambiance 5/5: cute modern small restaurant with a small bar with Japanese touches. Definitely fills up fast.
