My new fav jamaican spot in Tampa. The food was !!!!!

10 outta 10 highly recommend! She was very very friendly and nice. I got the Oxtails, cabbage, macaroni and cornbread. Let’s just say I almost ate my hand trying to eat this here delicious food. This place will definitely be one of my places to eat when I visit Tampa in the future!

Food is nasty we paid 50$ and it didn’t have any taste not Real Jamaican food the presentation was horrible Mac n cheese noodles over cooked I’m beyond pissed bad as I wanted oxtails I want my money back

The rice was old and hard, clumps in it. The chicken was reheated. The place was not clean at all

Omg!!! Why did I not come here sooner??? I’ve been wanting to try One stop for a long time but they close early, and I live in Thonotosassa, so I could never catch them, but I FINALLY DID, and I’ve been missing out!!! I tried the oxtails, rice and peas, yams, greens, and mac n cheese. When I say EVERYTHING was good, that’s a rare occurrence. I’m very picky about my oxtails, and they had mixed reviews. They were flavorful and sooo tender. The Mac n cheese was really good, cheesy, and not wet. I don’t eat everyone’s Mac n chs. The yams were nice and sweet, and the greens, bussin!!! That means good😊. I must warn you though, the greens are SPICY. If you can’t handle spice, don’t order greens. Nothing disappointed. The spot looks like a old hole in the wall and kind of dark, but that’s where you find the best food, and the gentleman was very nice. Also, they are one of very few Jamaican restaurants that have Roti, and they sell a combination of Jamaican food and Soul food. I definite recommend!!! A++

Honestly upset I saw the guy pull my styrofoam plate out of the microwave totally unappealing and hate to see disrespect to the food …I’m trying to get nourishment not nuked plastic fried into it

The front of house is so kind. Superior hospitality like the restaurant was her home that she invited you into. She didn’t receive my online order and made it quickly once she saw it. The jerk chicken was really good, the collard greens were wonderful. I wish I would have tried the cabbage since the greens were so good. The food is really mild, not spicy at all, just seasoned well. Plantains were sweet. I’m glad I came while I was in town visiting.

Tried this Place for the 1st time
I ordered Oxtails the rice was hard and seemed old I cook my rice in a rice cooker so I’m very picky with rice. I would not return just because of the rice😏

Came off a flight from Boston. Stopped by for lunch. Had the Curry Goat. Very good. Collards was amazing. Jerk Chicken was on point.

I am a truck driver and was passing through and stop here .. oh man I’m glad I did the food was off the hook 🔥🔥🔥 I’m telling you stop by if you think I’m hyping it up
