It's so rare nowadays to find a restaurant that has great food, attentive and pleasant staff, and isn't insanely overpriced. I feel like almost every restaurant I've been to in the last few years has been "phoning it in." Had a great experience here- and they had plenty of vegetarian options for me, and non vegetarian options for my husband. Definitely will be returning!

Vegetarian options: They also notated they had vegan options but I forgot to ask what they were!

Dietary restrictions: Offered vegan and gluten free options according to the menu.

Kid-friendliness: Not young kid friendly (10 years or older).

Wheelchair accessibility: Had a ramp to access restaurant, though the door and actual dining area was small. I think it would be easy to accommodate with a call ahead.

The chicken piccata I got was amazing and the chicken parm was sooo good too! Better than Maggianos! Could tell the dishes were made fresh. Great service too!

Great dining experience. There 5 of us and everyone enjoyed it. The restaurant is small and intimate but not pretentious. The menu has great options but our server explained that they can make almost anything.
The service was great and the prices are reasonable. Wine prices seemed low for great wines
We all had pasta dishes. And the food was delicious and the portions are large.
I will return.

Kid-friendliness: They ask that kids are 12 or older.

First of all, thank you for an amazing experience! Although the restaurant was full, the owner and staff made my husband and me feel like we were the only ones there. The food was absolutely delicious, and I was amazed to see that they would make any Italian dish. I was so impressed!

My only feedback? You should serve the pink sauce in a tub so I can live in it.

I will definitely be back—such a wonderful experience!

They don’t let us enjoy the restaurant, because we was with child. In my opinion it’s terrible

Love love this place. Have been coming here for many many years and Osterria never disappoints. It’s starts with the ownership. They are working hard in the restaurant every evening. Everyone feels welcomed and feels like a guest versus just a patron. Food is always cooked perfectly and exceptional. My wife had the special Hogfish which she devoured. The Veal picatta hands down is the best in Tampa. For apps there are many great options but if you can’t choose request the trio of Meatball, gnocch and pear suchatini. Sp? Plus they have a great selection of wines including some really good Italian options.

Disappointed. Long since been my favorite Italian restaurant. They redid the menu and layout since I had been last. They had limited items on new menu, not the classic noodle for the bel sit, mistakenly charged us for 2 additional drinks and did auto gratuity, which was interesting. My default is 20%, and I was going to add it until I checked the bill again and noticed they did auto gratuity (there were 2 of us). I’ve never experienced that before. The servers were otherwise nice and attentive. That being said,
It’ll be a long time before I go back. There are too many other options for Italian food.

This place is unreal! This is our favorite “special” spot for dinner. Easily the best Italian food in south Tampa. The service is incredible with the nicest staff. There is no quality lost on to-go orders as well. Highly recommend the meatballs, sacchetini, lasagna, and their amaretto cake. If you haven’t eaten here yet, go the very next chance you get if you enjoy being happy.
