This is a real bar. The bartenders were absolutely incredible. There were many locals and everyone was friendly, welcoming, super fabulous. Great selection of beer and alcohol. Cannot wait to go back.

In this case stars for food are for those of the liquid & adult persuasion. They carry Kilkenny (?) beer on draft--poured slow for that nice velvety effect. The bartender, "Mick"(sp?), was very welcoming and informative of their specials. And the prices were very reasonable, IMO, especially for downtown (Kilkenny draft, plus a Caroline's Irish Cream on the rocks, <$14). đ¤ˇđ˝ââď¸ Video trivia to play along with, darts, and lots of daily drink specials for $4- $6, including weekends, AND a BOGO drink offer for newcomers. Lots of TV's for sports viewing (there's a sign that says they play NFLtick-- but also futbol, Lightning, etc. Clean and contemporary, indoor and outdoor seating.

Terrible Experience with ID Policies
We visited this bar expecting a fun night out, but instead were met with unnecessary frustration and disrespect. Despite presenting both a valid Canadian driverâs license and a Nexus cardâtwo forms of identification that are widely accepted and, in the case of the Nexus card, require extensive federal security clearanceâthey refused us entry.
For context, the Nexus card is a trusted traveler program ID that requires background checks by both U.S. and Canadian authorities. Itâs one of the most secure forms of ID available, recognized federally and at international borders. Yet, the staff seemed either unaware of its legitimacy or simply unwilling to accept it.
To make matters worse, their attitude was condescending and dismissive, as though we were at fault for not providing "acceptable" ID according to their arbitrary standards. If a federally issued and highly vetted Nexus card isnât good enough, then what is?
This kind of rigid and uninformed policy is not only inconvenient but insulting. It's one thing to enforce ID requirements, but another to reject legitimate forms without reason. Needless to say, we wonât be coming back and wouldnât recommend this place to anyone who values fairness or good service.
Smelled terrible, servers hate their lives, drinks are expensive for what they are.
