We had a nice lunch, first time in this place, bread and pastries looked great but we didn’t try any,so I cant give my opinion on these. It was fast service, very friendly server, came to check on us and asked as how everything was. the Rustica salad was delish!polenta croutons and roasted garlic was perfect!the chicken salad was good too,the tuna salad sandwich was tasty but a little dry.My son enjoy the pizza, big slice. It is a good place to grab a bite if you are in the area.

This neighborhood place always has the best food and most fun and well trained staff. I had to carry away boxes of bread and cookies caus they were so good. My friend especially enjoyed it too!

Pane or pain - Chaotic place, they need to set their place’s straight. I understand they are under staffed but They need stop and organize themselves before serving the customers.

Nice atmosphere, food was so-so, and service was lacking. The waiter made so few stops at our table that it became frustrating. The salmon steak didn’t look like a normal salmon steak would look. The flavor of the salmon steak was fine but the pearl couscous underneath was cold so it caused the meat to become cold very fast (it was served at the wrong temperature- far too cold) and had to be sent back. (disappointing.) Bring a wrap because it’s very very cold inside the room in the back. Will probably stick to the pizza in the deli line at lunchtime and forgo dinner here again.

All of the food at Pane Rustica is outstanding. In particular the roast beef sandwich is the best you will ever eat. (The roast beef sandwich has Tony Zappones personal seal of approval). All of the pastries here are also excellent.

I loved this restaurant for years but they seem to be slipping somewhat. A party of two shared the Octopus app (pricey and bland; hate an Octopus dies for that serving), two salads (also pricey and bland) and the trout entree (and if you guessed bland again, you are correct). The food ingredients were fresh and seemed well prepared but nothing, and I mean nothing we ordered at all, had flavor. I don’t like salty food but man, add something to that! Is no one tasting what they are sending out? A $70 meal with shared entree and two waters has to be better than that or no one is coming back. Get you act together guys we want you to succeed!

Pleasant greeting, friendly service. Good sandwich with side of very well-seasoned cubed potatoes or fries. Reuben Rustica was excellent. Prosciutto sandwich was tasty but sparse amount of prosciutto that was overwhelmed with flavor of goat cheese. Cubed potatoes on side were especially good. Also bought loaf of bread. Good crusty loaf.

I am an out of towner with a relative in Tampa. I/we have eaten at Pane many times (eat-in, takeout. its all great). The food is uniformly wonderful, from the baked goods to the pastas and everything in between. Everything is super fresh and house made. Recently we hosted a family gathering to celebrate a birthday. The owners, Kevin and Karyn along with members of their staff, including Carlos, Taylor and Dan could not have been better about making the day special. Whether you are by yourself or with a friend to eat at the bar, or in the dining room, or in their more private room for a bigger party, I cannot recommend Pane /Rustica enough. Mark

Panne Rustica is not only a gourmet restaurant but they have a bakery and bar. it is located in a strip mall near the Hyde Park neighborhood. be sure to make reservations in advance!! My wife had a gourmet salmon fish, my cousin a flatbread pizza and I had a truffle pasta. all fantastic. my cousin was amazed and said ,I have lived here all my life and you come in from Miami and take me to this fantastic, new place.

My mom, stepdad and I came here for dinner because off our hotel front desk. Pane Rustica makes their own butter and pastas and it does show on your taste buds. The food portions even for salads are huge. My mom and I spilt a Caesar salad. The staff are very friendly. I would definitely come here again.

This was my first tine here. My friends had been here before, and raved about the food. None of us was disappointed this time. We chose to sit in the bar area for full service. We could have ordered for ourselves in the main dining area, sitting at one of the tables or booths. Kayla took our orders - she was friendly and efficient. We had the Caesar salad (me), Chicken Salad Sandwich with potato salad (D) and Acorn Squash with House Made Chicken Salad. All looked as good as they tasted. We paid separately. Kayla handled all 3 bills expertly. By the way, Kayla and all staff were masked. Customers were masked, too. Hand sanitizer was at the door. Seating was also limited for social distancing. We’ll be back - and we’ll ask for Kayla!

Virtually all seating is indoors, so during the pandemic, take-out is prevalent and consequently can be slow. However, the food is good, portions are reasonable. Online menu does NOT list all the dishes, so best bet - pickup a menu before you order.

One of the top local restaurants in Tampa. Quality and excellence always seems to be top of mind for them. Definitely give it a try if you haven’t.

We were looking for something quick and easy to eat in Armature Works before we headed out and after a walk around the food stalls, I was drawn in by Pane Rustica. I really just some carb sustenance and I knew pasta would do the trick. I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese, which really hit the spot. I mean, who can go wrong with pasta and meat sauce? It was actually a lot higher quality than I expected from a food court food stall! There was quite a wait for the food, but I suppose I would rather my pasta be freshly cooked versus sitting cold!

I love this spot. At least once a week I get their Roast Beef on Tomato bread. The pizza and pasta is excellent as well.
