The food is so good here! The cachapas are to die for & the steak was cooked perfectly. We had a little bit of everything and honestly, nothing disappointed. The place was slammed but the service was still great and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Extraordinary experience in this Venezuelan food restaurant, the very tasty arepas, the exquisite cachapas, the divine empanadas, the mixed dishes with shredded meat, beans, avocado, mandocas and hand cheese simply incredible, everything you order to eat from the menu You will love it because everything is prepared at the moment, which makes the food very delicious, fresh and healthy. It has been a very special moment because of the restaurant atmosphere, because of the food that is spectacular, but above all because of the kind attention of Damaris who made us feel at home.

Delicious food. I ordered “El sabor” arepa and it was really good. The service was excellent. Damaris was our server, she was kind and attentive. My family and I were very happy, we had a great time having breakfast there.

The grill should not be on skewers, it's the only thing he didn't like. The rest was great and the Cuban woman who served me was beautiful and charming 🌹

Was out looking for arepas and found this restraunt. The food was incredible. You can't beat those prices either. This is my new favorite place in Tampa. My check was 69$, you see all that food? Amazing actually please don't ever change.
Update: came back for more and it was even better than the first time. My favorite Venezuelan restaurant here. 💚
Apparently they do an automatic 18% gratuity which is new to me, last time it was not there. I think they should update their menu to inform their customers. It’s not a problem it would just be better to avoid any problems with people complaining about it.

We've been visiting this location several times per year for over a decade. The food is very good. The restaurant is cozy and on the small side. Definitely more for an intimate dinner for 2. Not ideal for large parties.
On September of 2024 we noticed they pre-charged 18% tip on the check. Tip is based on service it's not an entitlement. Especially for a party of 2. I've seen restaurants pre-charge 18% for larger parties 6+ usually. That's usually in writing on the menu.
I didn't see any notice on the menu or anywhere.
I guess most of their orders are done via takeout. I'm assuming those orders aren't pre-charged.
This extra 18% charge should be disclosed before the final bil is presented.

Nestled in the heart of the city, this Venezuelan restaurant is a true delight for anyone craving authentic Latin American flavors. From the moment you step in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere sets the tone for an unforgettable dining experience. But it’s the food that truly steals the show.
The arepas here are nothing short of spectacular. Perfectly golden and crisp on the outside, yet soft and fluffy inside, they are the ideal canvas for a variety of fillings. Whether you go for the traditional reina pepiada (a creamy chicken and avocado mix) or the hearty shredded beef, every bite bursts with authentic Venezuelan flavor. Each arepa feels like a lovingly crafted slice of home.
And then there’s the churrasco—an absolute must-try. This juicy, tender cut of grilled steak is cooked to perfection, seasoned just right, and served with a vibrant chimichurri sauce that enhances every bite. Pair it with the restaurant’s expertly prepared yuca frita or tostones for a truly indulgent meal.
Service is attentive and friendly, with staff more than happy to recommend dishes or share the history behind them. The prices are reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the generous portions.
Whether you’re new to Venezuelan cuisine or a longtime fan, this restaurant is a standout spot for savoring authentic arepas, churrasco, and more. Highly recommended for a casual meal, a family gathering, or even a special celebration. This is the kind of place you’ll find yourself coming back to again and again.

It took them a long time to bring what I ordered, the service and the response from the staff who work there were bad.
