Great discovery, everybody try them once; very authentic food; facility is clean and staff are friendly. Good variety on menu and clearly marked pricings. I go out of my way to eat there, and to support a local business doing the job well.

I've been coming to this restaurant for years, but never made a review and I think this one is over due. Let me tell you, if you want delicious food, this is the place to go! So many great options, I personally opt in for the chicken shawarma platter myself! I normally get it with the hummus and the basmati rice, but I changed it this time as of result of wanting to do keto and was not disappointed. I ordered the house salad and hummus as my sides and it was great! The salad was very green with cucumbers, lettuce and tomatoes, simple yet delicious! The hummus is great too! I could eat it by the spoon fulls.... and I do! Paired with their AMAZING chicken shawarma, it makes for an amazing dish! If you do order the basmati riceC I recommend mixing it all together for a great flavor blend! You can also order pitas and put them in there if you like some crunch, regardless, this place is a goldmine!

At Petra express. I like to enjoy the ambiance that coomes together with the food, and enjoy all together. Listened to salsa during the whole meal. The question is, is the cook also from the Caribbean?? Makes me want to eat rice and beans. The food was ok. Not much mediterranean flavor. The service was ok too.

We use to love this place but the last two times I have gone to order over the weekend (before 6pm mind you) they've either been out of meat and no not just gyro meat but all meats? Or we order the GYRO platter and get 3 pieces of gyro meat????? I'm sorry I dont see how a GYRO platter has only 3 pieces of gyro meat for $12.95 when an actual gyro generally has more than that?????? Highly disappointed and wont be returning. I suggest you keep your money and skip this place

Came here for lunch, we seated ourselves and no one came for almost 15 minutes, only 2 other tables, no one even greeted. Never coming back! Maybe good that we ended up leaving.

Fantastic Mediterranean Restaurant!!! This is now one of our favorite places to come and eat delicious food. The customer service is IMPECCABLE, friendly, courteous, accommodating. It is a delight to eat here. And the food?? Amazing, delicious and plentiful. My husband and I had the Gyro Platter. Tender strips of lamb accompanied by two sides.
Fresh tasty food. Ordered gyro platter with side of hummus and babaganouj. Came with pita.

Well I was hopeful! This was one of my favorite places. We moved out of the area and went back to visit. We stopped by to get the veggie platter. It took over 20 mins, to get our order. They couldn’t seem to cook the falafel so instead loaded us up with hummus with no extra bread to eat the hummus. So that’s a waist. We ordered baklava which when we got back to the hotel we noticed she didn’t put it in the bag. So it cost us almost 20.00 for hummus and 2 pitas, 2 dolmades and babaganoush, with a small salad. Not worth the price! They are very disorganized and had no customers in the place.

This review is for Petra Express Mediterranean Cuisine (Tampa i75) If your looking for something different and healthier to eat and in mood for good Mediterranean food this is the place. I ordered a traditional Gyro w/ lamb and the best Turkish coffee. The staff is family owned and super nice. Definitely recommend!
