Gio's is the real deal for Cuban food! Fantastic Cuban sandwich, Café con Leche, and the Cuban bead tost is perfect! I would highly recommend this place!!

Breakfast was good. I ordered lunch and had a fried steak sandwich. I didn’t like the fried steak sandwich because of the mustard in it. I think the steak sandwich I am used to in Miami have mayo and the white sautéed onions are crispy but cooked, which taste different. I also ordered sweet fried plantains and they are missing the essence of a sweet fried plantains, the plantain must be ripe. So I will keep searching for a Cuban eatery here in Tampa. The seating is a little cramps but enough space to move around, chill atmosphere. Maybe missing a little Cuban music in the background.

Cute little Cafe serving delicious Cuban food. Their pressed Cuban toast is the best in Tampa!

Food is awesome in the traditional Tampa style....whether you choose plate or sandwich, you won't be disappointed.
Pressed Cuban is the best in Tampa currently. Great location on Macdill just south of Kennedy.

Being this is about the only breakfast place,in the area other than McD,and Dunkin,I decided to go for a breakfast sandwich. Now I ordered a large bacon sandwich: the bacon was burned and cut up to fit the large bread. I called to complain about the bacon being burned only to find out that on a large 9$ sandwich you only get 2 pieces of bacon, not four to fit the bread just 2. So now I'm understanding why they cut the bacon to spread it out to make it seam as if you're getting bacon in every bite. Not worth the price or the time.and the service is awful. The ladies act as if they're doing you a favor.just early morning attitude. WONT BE GOING BACK!!!!

The food was okay, wasn't one of the best Cuban sandwiches I've tasted. It was a little bit lacking on the meat department. Especially the roast pork a little anorexic. For my taste The rest of the food looked and smelt. Good I didn't eat anything else from them. I just didn't like the whole And then online, I guess it makes sense to have the coffee separated from the food line. The problem was that you stand on the food line? You have to wait, you finally order. Now you have to walk around to order a coffee that was annoying, and every time I go there, that irritates me. If you're going just for coffee then I understand it. But they should be able to take your order and bring it to the coffee side. So by the time you pay you find the coffee's already made not that now. I have my food in my hand and now I have to wait for my coffee to get done. So they were right to me in a pinch. That was my review
