The restaurant charges extra for essentials like fresh salmon and tuna, which I believe are crucial for a good Poke. It’s commonly understood that spicy fish may not be as fresh. They also don’t offer staples like seaweed salad. My customized plate ended up costing nearly $40 and I did not order a drink.

I was craving a poke bowl, and this place did not disappoint. The fish is fresh, which explains the slight upcharge for tuna and salmon. The staff were courteous and offered recommendations. Overall, I really loved it!

Poke Fish is the best and most fairly priced poke bowl I've found in Tampa. They have base options I don't see other places (kale & cabbage slaw and sweet potato noodles is my fav combo), plus they don't nickel and dime on toppings.

What a great place for your next Poke bowl!! Found this little gem while travelling through Tampa in January 2024. Had the large bowl with three proteins, and was it tasty! Fresh fish, crisp veggies, and smooth avocado all working well to create a wonderful dinner. I believe this is a mostly take-out place. There are some indoor seats, but they seem more decorational than functional. I took my meal back to hotel room and ate there. Will go again next time I am in Tampa!Parking: The parking is right in front of and on side of building. Its shared with the Smoothie place. There are a couple of spaces on Kennedy, but tough to access. I used the "side" lot and came in from the side street. Parking is free, but limited and tight.

Beware of “extra costs.” The fish quality is good and better than other poke places I’ve been to in Tampa. That being said the pricing is frustrating. It costs extra to get “fish poke” and what they mean by that is if you don’t order tofu it’s extra. I would assume 90% of people going to a ~poke~ place are not ordering tofu, like just make the standard price higher at that point so the customer is not surprised/ confused by extra fees of order Poké at a Poké place. Paid $19 for their small tuna poke bowl :)

This place is called “PokeFish”… Poke is a Hawaiian dish “diced raw fish served either as an appetizer or a main course”. Fish is fish. So imagine my surprise when I went to PokeFISH for poke and was told while ordering that the fish was an up-charge! The 15$ large bowl comes with 3-scoops, and it’s a $1.50/scoop. So basically to get FISH at PokeFISH is approximately a 30% up-charge.People must be so appalled that they don’t order the fish as the salmon (I paid extra for) was not the freshest and a bit fishy for sushi quality fish. The flavors were also a bit bland. The bowl size for the price was fine, the amount of protein for the up charge was not. The service was pleasant and so was the space. Just be aware that it’s extra for fish at PokeFISH

Best poke in Tampa. They only use fresh ingredients and it's obvious when you taste it. I talked to several of the employees and their sauces are made-in house and they only use fresh fish. I get the "regular" size and it honestly last me at least two meals.

Amazing poke bowls! Stumbled upon this location during a visit to Tampa, best find! Now I've been about four times and it is my to go place for a quick, healthy lunch. Services is very prompt and staff is super friendly. Try their house sauce it's really good.

So so delicious, all of their ingredients are always so fresh. There of plenty of topping options to choose from. I’m not a big sauce person, but the ponzu sauce is DELISH. Poke fish is the best poke I’ve had in tampa and the location is perfect.
