Not sure what happened to this chain it’s gone downhill sticky floors. The food’s not as good as it was. It’s not just at this location. That are quite a few different locations that l have had The location on Hillsboro rocks clean great food.

Update! 11/3/2025 4pm I'm totally disgusted. Angel, the cook used the bathroom while I was in there, walked out of the bathroom and picked up tongs just like nothing had happened. I mentioned this and was told he washed his hand behind the counter. It is possible he WET his hands but he didn't have time to wash them. I walked out 10-15 after him and when I rounded the corner he was working with the chicken. Of course I walked out. Not coming back here.
I love this place and the people who work there. The anti-Popeyes attitude. Closer to Chic-fil-a employees.

Joy at Pollo Tropical was amazing! She greeted me warmly, gave helpful menu recommendations, and made sure everything was perfect. Friendly, attentive, and professional. she really made my visit enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I’ve only ordered here twice , the first time I waited 25 minutes for my food that I ordered 20 minutes before that . Tonight I ordered my food , they only gave me half the order and I had to drive all the way back to get my food . Food was ok both times .. probably never go back again
