2025 Update - Great Bar. If you’re not up for a full course dinner, consider the bar at Ponte. In addition to the full menu, there’s a bar menu – so good food is available. The bar staff are great, especially Emily, for mixing great drinks and for conversation. No reservations required. Fun talking to others. Mother’s Day. First time at Aponte. Love where it’s located in a cute I town plaza. Valet/public parking right next door. Very convenient. Restaurant had a touch of class the minute you walk up to the doors. The staffing very courteous and attentive. No wait time. Full service form the first steps at the door. I 💜 this! The inside is very classy, sophisticated just how I like it 👌🏽. The bread options were sooo good 🤤 we ordered the crab cake as an appetizer and OOOOMMMMMGGG😋 it was so flavorful.!!! The wine 🍷was great our dish were soooo good. I had Chilean sea bass added mushroom to it👌🏽 the other plate was Ribeye steak 🥩 paired with mashed potatoes. Very delicious! I enjoyed everything about this place. The parking availability, the service, the attention to details, the atmosphere, the food and drinks. The bill was worth the drive. If you’re in the Tampa Bay Area looking for a little elegance try this place out.

The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Beef Wellington—it was next level. Perfectly cooked, expertly seasoned, and truly memorable. My sea bass was so fresh and so tasty. The brussels sprouts were charred and crisped to perfection, offering a rich, savory balance to the meal. And the campfire dessert? Absolutely unforgettable. It’s a playful, nostalgic finish with gourmet execution—bringing the experience full circle. Every bite, from start to finish, was thoughtfully crafted and full of bold, layered flavors that you simply don’t find in most restaurants.

The steak was pretty great and they use beef tallow for their french fries fries. Which is a huge plus.

This is a top notch place in Tampa Midtown, I guess this place is a local spot if you want dress to impress and have a fine dinner experience. We were literally pig ourselves out, because we were hungry and everything was simply delicious. We just couldn't stop eating even though we were full. Their mushroom soup is a must! Also scallops and escargot were really good. Steak was amazing too. Since this place is so popular reservation is recommend
