Exceptionally service and high quality food. Just the unlimited free bread and $10 special roll make me want to come back again. There were varieties to the bread and each bread had its own flavor. The mushroom soup and A5 wagyu were a little too salty for me, but the wagyu paired nicely with the potato puree (puree was unseasoned). Other than saltiness, both dish had tons of umami. The A5 wagyu lacked a little depth in flavor, but it could just be me being way too full when I got to the wagyu pieces.I also got the Toro sashimi appetizer. Phenomenal. I just came back from Japan a few weeks before dining here and I thought the Toro didn't lose out to many sashimi spots I had in Japan. The dessert was okay. It tasted kind of bland to me, but my server did say it was on the lighter side.Overall still give it a 5/5. I'd give it a 4.74/5 if I can but I can't do partial stars on Google, so let's round up.

We did not plan to eat a formal dinner but the bar was closed for “renovations” so we accepted the offer to sit in the dining room. We ordered escargot, which are served with an andouille-flavored butter; and shared a Caesar salad, a 9-ounce filet and an order of truffle fries. It was all delicious, including the bread service. But the highlight was our server, Natalie. She was outstanding! Warm and personable, attentive without being overbearing. We will ask for her when we return - which will be soon.

One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Our server, AJ, went above and beyond for our table. The chef also came out to say hello, which was a pleasant surprise.

I’ve eaten at Ponte a couple of times in the past few months, it’s been lovely each time! Everything is exquisite but my favorites are the tuna appetizer, short rib entree with cognac sauce, brussel sprout side and passion fruit tart dessert are some of my favorites!!

Outstanding. My wife and I use to go to Cafe Ponte years ago for special occasions. This weekend, we decided to go across the bridge and try the new restaurant.Everything was amazing. From the food to the service. Somehow, they even made the mushroom soup better then I remembered. This is one of the best if not the best place in the Tampa Bay area.

A 5-star experience! Ponte has a classic modern American cuisine menu with a lot of seafood and steak options. The ambiance is beautiful, feels classy with white marble accents and white table cloths. The service is impeccable and attentive. They did add little something when we said we were celebrating our anniversary. We had the oysters, parker bread rolls with truffle butter, tuna crudo, escargots. All items that were recommended by our waiter and it did not disappoint! My husband does not like escargots, but these he enjoyed! The bread was great to soak up all that butter too. There was a special fish of the day, turbot with uni pasta and a generous dollop of caviar. Very rich, decadent dish that was well executed. We also had the filet mignon with string fries. The staff is attentive and asks you to cut the steak in front of them to see if it's cooked to your liking. The cocktail menu is interesting and has traditional options as well as "Ponte's" version. I had the Ponte version of an old fashioned with Japanese whiskey and it was elite.Didn't get to the dessert because I ate too much bread. Not only did we order the bread rolls, but they also have a bread tray with other house made options. They deserve a Michelin star in my opinion!

They made my husbands birthday dinner so special. Took a tour of the kitchen. It's a beautiful restaurant. Very classy. The food was so good. The mushroom soup and French onion soup, lobster dumplings, wagyu beef and Kansas City Steak were the best. Natalie was great with helping pick out the right food and drinks. Will definitely go back. Chef Chris Ponte really knows what he is doing and has the best staff. Everyone should try Ponte Modern American.
