Potbelly Sandwich Shop

Ordered online on 11/15/2024 and when I received my sandwich and it was made sloppy and was absolutely soggy, fast forward to today 12/03/2024, I decided to give them another go and I get to the door, pulled on both sides of the doors and they wouldn’t open, I tried them a second time to make sure, their were customers inside and on the door says they close at 9pm, I was there at 6:50 pm. Not sure who is running this establishment but it’s inferior to their airport locations. Save yourself a trip and go to the location in Brandon or go to Jersey Mikes or Firehouse in the New Tampa/Wesley Chapel area.

I ordered food from here on Uber eats and the food is delicious!! Not only was the food amazing but the order was in a tamper resistant bag/ neatly packaged. I will definitely be ordering from here again!

Have been there a couple times since it opened, but after the experience today not sure if we’ll be back. The first guy who took our order was friendly and nice and he did a good job, no complaints. After that, the girl who asked what toppings we wanted on our sandwiches, don’t really know what her problem was. I came in with my girlfriend and she was fine to me, but she was very rude to my girlfriend and forgot some of the toppings on her sandwich, and when she was done making the sub, she basically threw it at her over the counter. My girlfriend was not rude at all, so i’m not sure what warranted this behavior. Such a shame because the food here has been good, but don’t think i’ll be back as long as that rude girl working at 2:45 on Saturday November 23 is still working there.

First off, I recommend this place for a try.

The food was good and the atmosphere is nice.

The service was bumpy. Looking at past reviews I see a mix where some people have had good service and others have also had service that isn’t as attentive to instruction and orders.

Our experience was with some disappointing service. For example: when asking for extra pickles to accompany the pre-made salad, we were charged 4.89 for a Mac & Cheese Cup… at that point I guess just leave the pickles in my hand so I can avoid a charge lol.

But again, this may be a very rare experience so don’t let this review stop you from having your own experience.

Side note: eating here for roughly thirty minutes I had not seen anyone coming to clean the lobby space. Tables dirty (including ours)… and bathrooms.

There just needs to be better management here and I trust that this feedback will make sure that positive change does occur

First time customer, some communication issues ref vanilla milk shake..to be honest the order line is backwards…register should be in back not FRONT..this is 101..BTW Lucky 7 and Turk sandwich with provolone were good not off the charts..decent and maybe we’ll stop in around 6 months from now..ouch!!

First impressions are everything in the food service industry so here I go . I would have given them 4 stars but people need to pay attention when someone is taking an order. I ordered the Mediterranean chicken and I said no hot pepper hummus multiple times. Sure enough it was on the sandwich and to top it off there was so much of it the chicken and everything else was constantly sliding out of the sandwich. Very disappointing . The chicken tasted very good and the toppings were really fresh. I’m going to give them a second chance later on . There’s always hiccups and lot of problems that arise while starting any type of food establishment and hopefully they get it together soon so I can give them a better review. And yes I would still recommend you give them a try.

Was anxiously awaiting the opening of Potbelly's New Tampa location. Never tried them before but I have to say we were beyond pleased! Meats were delicious, toppings were delicious, bread was fantastic. Decent potion sizes for the cost. Ordered Steakhouse Beef, Sicilian, and Lucky 7. All phenomenal. This is our new sandwich go-to. We won't go anywhere else.

The sandwiches were delicious! We tried the Smokestack (bbq and mac n cheese) and the A Wreck. Very good and the warm toasted bread makes the sandwich! Also tried the broccoli cheddar soup. Was very good as well. Better than Paneras and we love paneras. Loved the atmosphere as well, cool vibe. Sweet tea wasnt really sweet might have just been an off batch. Otherwise we will be back for sure!

Amazing from top to bottom, clean, service was outstanding, manager came and asked how everything is. Long overdue for the new Tampa area and I couldn’t be more excited!! TY!! The hot peppers are the best as I also bought a jar to take home. :)

Just ordered here for the first time, and now I’m hooked, I ordered the pork and Mac sandwich and a loaded baked potato soup, my mom ordered the Italian and a pot pie soup, the sandwich and the soup I had were amazing, and she loved both of hers as well. Will def be coming here often!!!

About time they opened. So glad this is here. Enjoyed it up north. Didn't enjoy having to drive to Brandon or Raymond James to have some when they came to Florida. Great compliment to alternate between Publix subs and Potbelly's!
