I’m in Greece. No, not really. We just found the best Greek restaurant ever. It’s called Psomi. My goodness, so delicious. On February 20, our first time here, we had bread basket/psomi bread, le meunier butter, organic extra virgin olive oil, jam, and Greek scrambled with caramelized onion, roasted cherry tomato, creamy feta, grilled baguette. We liked the restaurant so much we came back the next day. We had chicken souvlaki - Greek yogurt brined organic breast, tzatziki, tomato, red onion, stuffed with cut fries, wrapped in a warm pita. Then we came back again on Sunday February 23 for some Greek style breakfast.
Excellent food & service!
Service and atmosphere are good but food doesn’t quite live up, especially for the price.

Psomi in Tampa is a true gem and easily one of the best brunch spots I’ve ever been to! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by the warm and friendly staff, who made us feel welcome and taken care of. The ambience is bright, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed yet elevated brunch experience.
The food was absolutely amazing—every dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The menu had a great variety of options, and everything we tried exceeded expectations. The attention to detail in both the food and service was impeccable.
We made reservations, which I highly recommend, as the place was buzzing with energy. Despite the crowd, everything ran smoothly, and the staff was attentive and kind throughout. Psomi is a must-visit in Tampa for anyone looking for delicious food, exceptional service, and a lovely atmosphere. Can’t wait to come back!

I’ve wanted to try this since it opened, thankful we finally did. The food is fresh, light, locally sourced, no seed oils, high quality and made with love. Our party of 4 went on Sunday for brunch, highly recommend making reservations as it was packed. We sat outside which was staged w/ lovely flowers, stone pillars and energetic vibe. We shared two appetizers, the zucchini fritters were incredibly delicious, a blend of onions and feta. Next up we enjoyed the saganaki wrapped in phyllo dough so it was crispy yet gooey and warm inside topped with/ sesame seeds and honey, perfect honestly. Two friends got egg dishes which were massive, they enjoyed. My husband ordered the BLTA, house made thick cut bacon was the star of dish, along w/ the house made vinegar pickles, yum. I’d definitely buy a jar to go if they sold them. My meal was a tender, smoky chicken souvlaki served w/ a side dish, I chose potato salad and it was sitting in Greek dressing, soooo good. Lastly, each coupe shared a baklava coffee cake and yes it was moist! I highly recommend, can’t wait to go back!

Great food and experience. The server was very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu items. We came late in the brunch, so a lot of the bakery items were out, but the few we got were amazing, cannoli, mama's baklava, cinnamon roll, loukoumades. The lamb pita was a good serving and very flavorful. We are definitely coming back earlier in the day next time to get more items from the bakery.
Parking: Shows valet parking by the building, but was full. That parking is fairly limited. There was additional parking a block away, which was quite full as well, but we were able to find a spot for our dually.

Some of the best Greek food I’ve ever had in my life. Give is slightly lower score on atmosphere because the tile and walls make for a very loud inside environment. If you don’t like very loud atmospheres, opt for your meal on the patio

Psomi is my favorite restaurant of all time. The food and service is by far unmatched!!! I love how they only use the best ingredients, it feels like they have Greek angels in kitchen making all of their heavenly dishes! The vibe is always happy there, every time I leave there feeling like I’m on cloud 9. The entire team makes you feel like family. I would highly recommend Psomi to all!!!

The food is actually really good with large portions at a high premium price. My bloody mary was really good. My Gyro was good, but not awesome because the meat came out really mushy. I guess the reason why I couldn't give the place a 5 star is the restaurant upcharges for anything that you want to upgrade on the menu. There was a significant increase when you wanted a simple add on.

There's a reason this restaurant is booked on the weekends. We walked in to put our name on the wait-list, was told an estimated 2.5 hour wait and got lucky with a cancellation. All that to say: make a reso in advance.
Ambience is supreme! Food is top notch. There is an abundance of pastries and breads that you'd have to make many return trips to get thru the menu. I absolutely loved the orzo soup! Lamb gyros are also ?, with the goat cheese adding a perfectly tangy balance to offset the rich meatiness.
