The red sauce that came with the shrimp was a little salty and the shrimp didn't taste fresh. However the mofongo, pork, plantains and yellow rice was really good and staff was friendly.

In Tampa for the weekend and in the need of lunch. While drinking last night, I recalled seeing this place near where I'm staying. Was a easy walk and I'm going to tell you, worth every damn step. Granted there weren't that many but the point is to stop reading and go. I was a little overwhelmed by the amount of things I wanted to have but went with the first thing that immediately caught my eye, mofongo. Its been some time since I've had it and remember it was one of the meals that stood out during a family vacation to PR. There's a hot bar and plenty of choices from cuban sandwiches, breakfast items, and daily specials. I ordered the mofongo de carne frita aka fried pork righteousness. The pork was crispy and tender to cut. I'm so jealous I don't have a spot like this back in Jax within walking distance but loved what they are doing here. Washed it down with a Jupina and I'm quite happy. Honestly may go back tonight cause I may not have time tomorrow.

This is my 3rd time at this restaurant. I usually go for breakfast, but today I went for lunch. The churrasco was amazing! The server was kind and attentive.I highly recommend this place for a delicious meal!???

We make a order 2 chorizo,egg and cheese sandwiches and 1 steak,egg and cheese sandwich for breakfast then she don't care about she bring 2 sausage,egg and cheese she changed the order without notifications, bad experience with the small lady she bring the food to our table and never back to check if everything ok ?
Yesterday, I tried the fried whole snapper and it was delicious plus the server suggested their tostones and they were out of this world. Definitely coming back and it is really a must to visit in West Tampa. Thank you Paula for the great service!

So I went today it was my first time going I ordered a Jibarito sandwich and it was dry no flavor it didn’t have mayonnaise and the main sauce very disappointed the meat was a little hard, it was nasty never will not go again or recommend this place.

Stopped in for the first yesterday randomly while making a delivery, best customer service I was ever welcomed with. Beautiful employees and atmosphere. Please give them a shot. Everything on the menu is very flavorful very reasonably priced.

Delicious food and great price! Purchased a family style meal for a party of four. Pernil, black beans, yellow rice, platanos! Everyone had seconds and there was more! I also LOVED the avacado salad as well as the cream cheese pastries we had for desert. Definitely will be back! Paula is also the sweetest!
