This was nice, one of those old breakfest places. Figured why not, til I asked for 4 eggs scrambled. Price was $9 for 4 eggs?? I can buy a dozen of eggs, sorry I can buy 18 eggs fot that price, or just go to Waffle House and get 5 eggs for $6.50, still expensive but better price. A shame, really wanted to try the place. Oh well!

Ranch House Allows NO SUBSTITUTIONS !! If one doesn't order exactly what is on the menu, as for options ; you WILL be charged a la carte prices ,which by the way are ridiculously over-priced !! My brother and I have frequented this establishment many times ,their food is Good, their service 95% of the time is excellent , their staff is well trained and pleasant !! Today's experience was beyond disappointing, and were it Any Day other than Sunday , my dissatisfaction would have been Heard by the ENTIRE RESTAURANT !! I generally go out of my way to support local businesses , but I also expect to be treated fairly and not taken advantage of financially !! A simple NO SUBSTITUTIONS on their menu ,would at least have alerted their patrons of A LA CARTE Charges to be applied in addition to their order. Unfortunately, I will NO LONGER FREQUENT THIS ESTABLISHMENT !!

My husband has been going there for breakfast every week with his best friend. They order the same thing every week. However, today, 4 tables sat after them were waited on while it took 30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge them and the another 30 minutes for food. Then what is normally just over $20 was over $45, for the same food as every week. They charged for substitution (ala carte,) when the menu 1. Has a choice, but charged as a substitution, 2. Menu and staff do not tell you, friend changed pancakes for toast and charged extra. So 2 eggs and toast was $9. Then charged for a to go container for leftovers. The staff argued with my husband, made no apologies, or adjustments.
What was once a weekly outing to enjoy breakfast for 2, now @ $45+ with tip, will be no more, at least not here.
If you want to be cheated on your bill and have a staff member argue and lie to your face, then by all means go.
We However, will never set foot in there again.

We just moved to the area and love finding local establishments. Ranch House is the perfect local restaurant that offers great food, a homey atmosphere and most of all the best waitress Erica that makes you feel welcomed . Erika also makes a very delicious drink called Sparkling Sunrise! If you're looking for a low key local place, stop by the Ranch House!

I absolutely love this place, the servers are amazing and our food comes out quick every time. My three kids love coming here for Erika, she takes care of us and does a great job at keeping everyone happy. I recommend the Chicken salad sandwich, with lettuce and bacon, it’s delicious. If your kiddos get tired of their iPads, ask your server for toys, they have some in the back!

First and last time in this establishment. Waitress was pushy to get a order even tho was our first time and was handling the children. Kids played a little in the place and the waitress, thought I did not know how to speak her language. She spoke very poorly about my children to the chef. This is all happening in front of me while she was walking to the register. That's when we decided to leave and not eat there even though we were all very hungry. So my friends this place is not children friendly. The waitress had the audacity to tell me to control my kids and she was not understanding very cold hearted and not empathetic.

It was a great place to get breakfast before a day a the beach. They use fresh ingredients. The Meat Lovers omelette is scrumptious yes I said scrumptious. Shout out to the chef. Seriously the food was good it’s worth stopping through. Erika made us feel at home.

Went there for father's day. We waited for 10 minutes for a table, 30 minutes to get a drink after asking 2 people. The first guy I asked said it wasn't his section but never told anyone we asked. We waited over an hour after that to get our food, and we kept being told it was coming. When a person from our table asked after an hour, the manager yelled at her for asking. Everyone else around us that came in after got served. We ordered regular breakfast food. Nothing special. We decided to leave without getting our food because of the way we were treated. We went to Foodies down the street and got seated right away and the food and service were great.

We wanted to check out a good breakfast place while staying in Tampa. Ranch House Restaurant had good reviews. They were not wrong! At first glance, the strip mall it is located in is not the most up to date. Located at one end of it, parking was easy. We got a table right away & our server was prompt. She was so nice & friendly!! Unfortunately, I did not catch her name. My wife had a Monte Cristo sandwich, which was huge & delicious. I had a breakfast burrito, which was also fantastic. My youngest had a chocolate chip pancake with whipped cream. The cafe con leche was just what I was hoping for. Prices are reasonable too. Not a pretentious place, but a great menu with good food at reasonable prices paired with excellent service really can't be beat.

I had taken my grandmother and aunt to what I thought would be a good breakfast spot close to home , from the moment we walked in to the moment we walked out there was no hospitality shown or given from the waitress or staff. We waited 5 min with no greeting so we sat ourselves the waitress came over gave us no name or greeting, we would say thank you after everything she brought and not one welcome was said. She messed up two of our drinks and didn’t care to apologize , not that we wanted an apology but again hospitality in a restaurant is never a bad thing. As a waitress myself I was very disappointed as it is the waitresses job to make the customer have a good experiences and make them want to come back we ordered our food and she didn’t care to come back and ask if it was good or anything and even after we’ve felt like that was the worst service I still left her a tip again as i know what it’s like to work for tips. If you’re having a bad day that should be left at the door the moment you walk into your work establishment nobody wants to have a bad day cause ur having one.
