Great dinner at Renzo’s! I had grilled octopus, Caesar salad, and churrasco steak - everything was very good and the prices were fair. Only wish there were more options of wine by the glass.

I really hate to leave bad reviews but this is quite possibly one of the worst meals that I've ever had. The $40 filet mignon was very fatty and tough and tasted gamey. The vegetables were so crunchy that even the steak knife had trouble cutting through them. The broccoli was old and was brown and yellow. The iced tea tasted like water and tasted off. I don't understand how this place has such high ratings because I was honestly flabbergasted at how terrible everything tasted and the price point.

The place was empty. We wondered how they made money.
One of three. The OG is in South Tampa I believe and the fancier location appears to be in St Pete….go figure. Our waitress was nice and we practiced our Spanish - good place to do that btw if you are learning. Everything food wise was amazing especially the churrasco which was perfectly medium rare. Thanks for the experience we will hit the other locations. Photo Credit: Annalisa Smith

So I used to love Renzo's and their parrillas and we came for that but hey only had the one kind we didn't want. The all red meat was out. So completely gutted we ordered empanadas a Ribeye and fish dishes. Empanadas were ok, not too greasy and they came out hot. Salmon was good but it was really orange, that usually screams fake to me but whatever maybe it was the sweet sauce on it? and I had the red snapper al ajillo and while the seasoning was good on the fish the rice was terrible, no flavor at all, Yuma's in point hit and crispy, I think as usual the best part of Renzo's is the steak which was soft and cooked to perfection. Chimichurri was surprisingly salty, not sure if it was that day or a common occurrence. I only wish I could've had the parrilla instead because for fish is definitely not the place.

Love Asado Argentino and by far this is one of the best
Carrollwood location is extremely inconsistent! Have gone for happy hour on a Friday 3 times this year, first time we were told it was happy hour but charged full price (genuinely enjoyed ourselves so didn’t bring it up, was just wine), second time was given a full happy hour menu with food and drinks (was the best happy hour in the area and I told so many ppl they needed to go), yesterday was given a menu but told only the drinks were part of happy hour. Wanted this to be the new go to happy hour spot but won’t be going back because apparently they just make it up by the day.
Please be quicker for pickup with food delivery services!

Restaurantji Recommends
I use to go here a lot to celebrate birthdays or special occasions but the last 2 times, food has been horrible.
I ordered pick up due to timing and portions were small and meat was definitely not seasoned like before nor was it cooked right.
I'm assuming new chefs or management and now the food is not worth the price! This is for the location in Carrollwood. Do not recommend!!

The steaks cut like butter and taste amazing. Clearly Carrollwood's premier steak house.

Came in on Saturday at around 1:30 pm with my husband. Place was clean, empty, only the servers were there. Everyone very welcoming. Service was so fast, we were impressed. First, we had the beef empanadas, they were very greasy, you could see the oil dripping down on your hands and it tasted just like that, we did not finished them. Then, we order the octopus carpaccio, not a hit at all, we tried a piece and that was it for that appetizer. Then, we tried the steak pieces with fries, we enjoyed this one a lot. Finally, we tried the shrimps, they were screaming for some seasoning.
We came here because we wanted to try the octopus with tostones appetizer but there was non to have.
We want to try again, but probably, perhaps, another of their locations.

It was a top-notch experience. The quality of the food was superb. Friendly service and fair prices. We drive from Orlando on special occasions to eat at Renzo's. We love it.
