Rice & Spice – A Hidden Gem You NEED to Experience!

Let me start by saying this: stop scrolling and GO. Rice & Spice is hands down one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had in a long time.

It’s a family-owned spot in every sense of the word, everyone there is related, and the warmth shows in every detail. Our server, Tay, was phenomenal. Not just friendly, fun, genuine, and made the entire evening feel like we were dining at a friend’s house. He’s the kind of person who turns a great meal into a memorable night.

Now let’s talk FOOD.
OMG. I honestly wasn’t ready for how good everything was. We started with the chicken satay, and let me just say…what?! So flavorful and perfectly grilled. The pineapple fried rice was an absolute flavor bomb, sweet, savory, and full of texture. We also tried the spicy tuna roll and crunchy roll, both were fresh, well-balanced, and ridiculously tasty. And just when we thought we were full, we had the vanilla fried ice cream…and WOW. Perfect ending.

You can tell this place is built on love; for food, for family, and for community. We left with full stomachs and huge smiles.

Seriously, don’t sleep on this spot. Rice & Spice is a whole vibe and we’ll absolutely be back

Sushi roll was decent but nothing memorable. Pad Thai had good flavor but was a bit too dry.

Absolutely phenomenal experience! From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel like family — warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. You don’t just come here for sushi (which is incredible, by the way), you come for the atmosphere and the people.

Every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavor — from the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the perfectly crafted specialty rolls. The chefs clearly care about every detail, and it shows.

But what truly sets this place apart is the hospitality. It’s rare to find a restaurant where you feel like a regular on your very first visit. We left full, happy, and already planning our next trip back.

Fast and friendly service. The waitress checked with the chef if certain dishes are or can be made vegetarian. I ordered tipsy noodles with fried tofu at a 5 of 5 spice level and thoroughly enjoyed my flavorgul meal. I was very surprised to find only few dining guests since I will surely be back.

American Asian. Way overpriced for what they offer. Fried food was greasy. Seasoning was chili oil and salt. I had a chicken dish that was essentially greasy sweet and sour chicken for $22. My wife had a sushi roll that was very short on fish for $15. After living in Asia and traveling there for 25 years, there was nothing Asian about the food they served other than the recipe names.

We love this place and how warm and welcoming everyone is. The food here is delicious, and fresh every time we come in and the service is always excellent. We highly recommend their gyoza, spicy tuna crispy rice, and their black dragon roll.

Great Food, Fresh vegetables, and Good people. I don’t write reviews often, but I’m happy to support local family owned business offering quality food at a reasonable price.

Love the food and the staff are the sweetest! Check their hours before going. They have lunch and dinner hours and our closed in-between. The pad thai is so good, and the tipsy noodles are our new favorite. They have delicious sushi, and they know their heat spices.

The staff was very friendly but there is NO way I would go back here. I had pad thai with chicken but could not eat the chicken- it tasted like shrimp and had the most bizarre texture - I don’t think it was real chicken. My son ordered chicken fried rice and it was also terrible. My husband had a sushi roll which he said was delicious.

I don't even know where to start. From the second we walked in, we were treated like old regulars. We took a seat at the bar and the owners Praydith and his wife chatted us up. We asked for recommendations and they legit made our meal. Torched Salmon belly nigiri, calamari, and drunken noodle with the widest noodles you've ever seen. The food. Was. Incredible. Lit behind the sushi bar is fabulous. Try his sauce and ask for the secret menu. I have been to Thailand and had the real deal. This place is the real deal. The reviews speak for themselves. Our new favorite place.
