Go out of my way to South Tampa for Roberts Filet mignon sandwich ?

Where did you go ? Different business than I thought at westshore location.?

Don’t go here . Waste of time. So I was really wanting a brisket sandwich. And I was very disappointed because not did I not get my sandwich I couldn’t even find the business location. I even called and only got a recording. Very questionable.

Never disappointed. Smoked salmon is the best!

Get the rib dinner with fries and another side. The ribs were good. The pork was sliced pork and not pulled pork. I wouldn't get that again. The mac and cheese, coleslaw, and mashed potatoes were ok but I'd try the baked beans or something else as my second side. This is more of a takeout place. There are 2 picnic tables outside that don't have shade.

I have eaten here twice. The first time I ordered the ribs and they were pretty decent. I went back this past Saturday and ordered the brisket....it was awful! What was served to me (for $18 bucks I might add) was closer to shaved cheap deli meat slathered in BBQ sauce. First, I can’t believe they call that brisket but I also can’t believe they charge that much for whatever it was they gave me. I’m from Texas. I know brisket. This was not. It was closer to meat from Arby’s than actual brisket. I felt misled and when I got back home and saw this fake meat they called “brisket” I also felt robbed. I literally felt deceived. $18 bucks for that???!!! You can’t even charge that for award winning brisket!! You need to put a disclaimer on your menu that says this is not real brisket. Very ashamed!

I want to shout out to Robert & Melissa for another fabulous BBQ - COVID style! Thank you for packing up the family BBQ when we couldn't get together for our firm BBQ! It is the best food in town!!

Best steak I ever ate. Place looks like a dump but it puts all other restaurants to shame in Tampa. This is a must visit restaurant.

I Had a fantastic fresh grouper sandwich. I do intend to return as I misunderstood the “Cuban Reuben” and I want to give that a try. He cooks with real wood and you can enjoy the natural sweet smoke off the grill as your food cooks. Very satisfying.

Fast service, GREAT brisket, and some pretty good fries and creamy coleslaw.Good portion size for the price too. Will definitely return to try the Grouper sandwich.

Food made fresh and to order...but more so its obvious its made with passion! Great addition to the neighborhood a must try and try again!

Great service and fantastic meat. Selection was a bit down, but friday afternoon and didnt call ahead. Like being greeted by an old friend

It's obvious that Mark takes great pride in his craft. He asked me 3 times how I like my food and that tells me he really genuinely cares. If you're in the area, I would absolutely stop by to have some amazing food and talk with a cool guy.

The food was excellent with great smoky flavors will be back again
