Everytime I look for a highly rated place, most of the time my wife and I are disappointed and I look the like idiot recommending a random place.This place is nowhere close to that and is one of the best mexican places i have ever eaten at. I haven't had anything close to rockys since Denver and I've grown up in South and Central Florida.Please go there, you will not be disappointed. $11 for a huge burrito.

I am a taco connoisseur and I've had my share of really good, mediocre, and tragically terrible tacos, both stateside and in Mexico. ROCKY'S TACOS ARE AT THE TOP OF THE LIST OF BEST TACOS I HAVE EVER HAD!!! Thank goodness they are on Doordash or I would've never found them on my own. I ordered 5 Tacos with varying proteins, traditional Mexican style (just cilantro & onions) & requested sides of their hottest house sauce & they sent me their deliciously spicy habanero sauce which was A+. Every single taco's flavors were perfection. I wasn't even that hungry, and I inhaled all 5 in one sitting. Tons of meat. Just great! They have a customer for life.

The food was amazing! I got the tacos, burritos and they all knew what they were doing! Super quick in less than 5 minutes and absolutely best I ever had! Definitely try it it’s worth your time and the drive!

I love Rocky's tacos! Sooooo good. Very delicious and one of my top 5 taco spots in Tampa. Fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked tortillas, little fat on meats, and beautifully spiced sauces. The owners are super friendly and so attentive, if you are eating there. Husband and wife truck and the service they provide is nice. It's on the corner of McKay and hillsborough ave. So it's pretty loud just because you are next to the main road. There is limited seating for eating there. One table to be exact. However, eating in your car is the better option to avoid the flies lol. At $3.50 a taco, they are a good size and punch so much flavor! Torta's, Burritos, and quesadillas are also offered at around $11-$12. Great aguas, juices, are provided as well.I've been here once before and honestly, forgot how delicious these tacos were. On this trip I ordered 3 tacos; one pastor (pork), carnitas (pulled pork), and one campechano (steak and chorizo).Perfectly cooked, great flavors and all at a great price!

Literally one of my favorite places for traditional tacos. And you get grilled green onions and radishes. The red sauce is perfect. Prices are reasonable. Also, they double the tortillas which is awesome! Highly recommend!
