If I didn’t Drink at Jekyll and then decide to take a puff off my friend’s weed pen, inadvertently fainting in the middle of Hyde Park, in front of everyone on a busy Saturday evening - because whatever she had in there was not from this world - then finally making it to our reservation - I would prob remember the experience more! But from what I do remember, it was great!! I look forward to trying it again -minus the weed pen. =)

Location is nice and the restaurant is cute, but the experience was fairly underwhelming for brunch. Everything we ate was lukewarm, including the coffee. It was surprising to me because we were the only group seated inside at the time, so it wasn’t incredibly busy. I’m not planning to go out of my way to try this place again, but I wouldn’t say it was a total loss either.

Service was excellent (Shea was fantastic and we wanted for nothing the entire time we were there), drinks were phenomenal (my wife loved her smoked old-fashioned), and my braised short ribs were the best I’ve ever had. The rest of the food was good but would have benefited from a heavier hand when it came to seasoning. We’re planning to come back to try their brunch menu at some point.

Water had black mold in it. Server and manager didn’t care.

The service was amazing. The food was amazing. I ordered the Salmon jerk pasta with the fig & flower drink, it was delicious and strong. I ain’t never needed one drink.

My husband and I wanted to try this place for a long time but we were disappointed by the overall experience unfortunately. The atmosphere was really nice, it's a beautiful place and our server was great. Food wasn't bad but wasn't great either and honnestly we were not impressed. The meatballs were good but were mostly cold, warm at best. My husband had the filet with potato gratin and asparugus. They must have been out of asparugus because he had brocoli instead but they never mentionned it before the meal arrived. The filet was nicely cooked. The gratin lack of seasonning though and the brocoli were just steamed. I had the Lomo Saltado which was good but again could have been a little warmer. The biggest disappointment was with the desserts. We got the creme brulée. It was supposed to come with whipped cream but we had none and it was very thin and small. We also had the chocolate tart which was supposed to come with chocolate ganache, chocolate mousse vanilla whipped cream, strawberry greek yogurt and french tuile but we just had a tiny chocolate tart with hard ganache and watery strawberries on top. No mousse, no whip, no greek yogurt, no tuile... We didn't like it at all and they were nice enough to take it off the check. I was craving good desserts and the menu seems really promising so it really was a big disappointment. I know that restaurants have bad days sometimes so I'm hoping this review will be helpful for the management because it's a beautiful place and the staff we very friendly !

I have been wanting to try Rome + Fig for a while and I finally had the chance when I and a group of friends made a reservation for 1:30 Brunch on Saturday. Now the restaurant is technically closed from 2 to 4 pm but they allow reservations at 1:30 and allow guests to continue their meals during this window of time. We had a wonderful server, Abbie, who made us feel welcome and took our orders quickly. The aesthetic of the restaurant is very chic and clean. Rome + Fig definitely has the look down. Now for the Brunch menu, it was a one page menu which I did not mind at all. I think there were still a decent amount of options. I ordered the Truffle Fries and the Lobster Benedict. I really enjoyed the Truffle Fries. The green garlicky sauce that came with the fries was DELICIOUS. Now for my main dish, the Lobster Benedict, I was a little underwhelmed. The dish was good but I wasn't amazed. I've had plenty of Benedict dishes before, and I've had better. In terms of portions, I will say you likely won't be satisfied with the Lobster Benedict alone because it is such a light dish. Nonetheless, my friends and I were enjoying our experience at Rome + Fig up until we heard an employee (Anthony) tell our waiter that we should leave the restaurant. He was at the registers right by our table as he told our waitress. I could see from his face that he was visibly annoyed and I don't understand why. We made a reservation through OpenTable for 1:30. The Hostess reassured us that they accept reservations up to 1:30 and that customers are allowed to comfortably finish their meals even though the restaurant is temporarily "closed" between 2 to 4 pm. I am not sure if Anthony was having a bad day, but his comment was inappropriate and should not have been made... especially within earshot of my table. Overall, I would rate my experience 3 stars. Abbie and the host were incredibly welcoming and the food and ambiance were good.

Wouldn’t recommend it. Half the menu wasn’t available when we went. I got the filet, medium well. It was more than “burnt well done.” Super hard to chew. We still got 4 different entrees and the food honestly wasn’t good. Dessert wasn’t either. Def wouldn’t go again. However our waitress was really nice.

Wonderful 5 course meal here! Each course was delicious and unique, and small enough that you didn't feel overwhelmed by the end, but large enough that you'll certainly feel full. My waitress Yidania was welcoming and helpful. Looking forward to trying this monthly tasting again!

Grilled cheese and Tomato soup was nothing special it was like a half of a cup of soup and A grilled cheese that I could make much better at home very disappointed at their brunch

The waitress was phenomenal ❤️. The owner/manager needs a few lessons in customer service. The Offline deal was not honored even after she contradicting herself re: the hours of redeeming the offer.
