Our family owned restaurant and coffee shop has exclusively bought espresso pods from Royal Cup for 10 years. We tried to schedule a routine service call for our espresso machine (that we purchased from Royal Cup) and were told that it "wasn't worth their time" to come out to fix it and that we should "take our business elsewhere." To say that we were shocked and disgusted by the rudeness of their "customer service representative" is an understatement. During times like these, small businesses need to support other small businesses. We've supported Royal Cup with $1,000+ orders multiple times a year for TEN years. We purchased an $8,000.00 machine from them. The last thing we need is to source another coffee provider during a pandemic or to be treated like garbage over the phone.A few days later, we received a phone call telling us that someone was coming from Royal cup to pick up our espresso machine (that we own). I gave them the courtesy of a phone call to tell them that they can't come take OUR machine. So, we weren't even going to be given a week to get a new vendor before they were going to pull our machine. Before any other business considers making Royal Cup their coffee, tea, or espresso provider, they should know exactly who they are getting involved with.
