The good: service was fine. The bad: food is fresh, but cringe worthy on so many levels. It seems that they have this idea that food needs to taste sweet: if I want a sweet I’d get a dessert. They don’t get the Asian food right, nor the western. The fillet, asked for a medium rare, came as overcooked and dry. Oh, did I mention it was sweet? And the dessert: that was an unbalanced mess of sugar and salt.

We came with a large group and were well accommodated in a separate room. From the you didn't get the feel of the actual restaurant though.. The shechuan ribs and the crab cakes in the set of starters were really good. I had chicken and shrimp for my main and that was good too, well seasoned and tender but the vegetables and rice were a bit disappointing.

This is our go-to restaurant for special occasions. In this case my birthday. This is, in my opinion, the gold standard for Ago tuna. So that's what I had! It was perfect! My wife had the short ribs which is her favorite. The other couple with us had Mahi and short ribs. The food is consistently excellent and so is the service. Never been disappointed.

Roy's restaurants are expensive, but very good. I really love eating there. Most of the clientele dressed business casual or better dress.

I order a vegan meal made up of all sides. Each of the sides were prepared well and delicious. The ambience of Roy's is such that your party is intimate. The wait staff are very professional. The parking is close and secure. We were a party of 5 and everyone thoughly enjoyed their meals. We will definately return. One remark I will make is their signature Pineapple Upside Cake which takes 20 minutes to prepare was not what we were expecting.

Our first time dining here, just about everything about the experience left something to be desired. My steak was horribly over cooked and seemed like a bad cut and for $48 I had expected something fabulous. Drinks were so so. Servers could use a little more personality. Needless to say at those prices and such a disappointing outcome we will not be returning.

This restaurant is so wonderful. It will make you feel like you are dining in Hawaii. I really like their seafood dishes and tropical drinks. The staff are helpful, prompt and nice. It you want nice dinner out this is a great choice

I am traveling for work from Detroit. I wanted some monster before heading home and found this place close to the airport. I Had a great conversation with the bar tender "from north east ohio" and she made a great old fashioned and perfect combo of short rib and lobster tail to pair it off. Awesome conversation just before my flight home. Cheers

Competent and informed assistance.to those of us who aren't sure about color, texture, or even good taste! Amy and Kim were very patient and helpful. Can't wait to see the final result.

Our first visit to Roy's for Butterfish. The appetizers were awesome, the entrees were fabulous. It was a great dining experience with great friends. Also a great atmosphere. Would definitely go again.

We were with a very large group and the service was top knotch. Food was excellent as well. One of our party has severe food allergies and they gladly accommodated for their needs. Overall an excellent dining experience. Full bar available, great menu choices, and the food quality is excellent. Highly recommend this establishment.
