Great spot for breakfast! If you love coffee...Cafe Con Leche is it! Outside of the great food, Brad (manager) is a great guy! Having the pleasure of being served by Aaron, was the icing on the cake. Regardless of COVID-19, the service, the friendly smiles (under the masks), and just overall simplicity are what make this spot a 5 in my book. Must try: Cafe con leche, guava and cheese pastryMake sure you go on an empty stomach...plenty to eat! Thanks Brad and Aaron!!!!! (And mi Bonita that made the cafe con leche)

Mom and I were exploring the area since we live in Largo, FL and we google Cuban Bakery sure enough Rubens Cuban Cafe pop up. I am very glad we stopped by. Mom ordered the Media Noche and I ordered the Cheeseburger. You guys blew me up. I was expecting the Bun to be like the tipycal one, but no it was served with the traditional Cuban Bread and honestly I LOVED IT. It was something new and dynamic. I thought of my uncle in Cuba and how much he would enjoy it as well. I appreciate the food and the customer service. Big shout out to Brad the new manager.

So, I go online to view the menu. Click on the platters. It says all platters are served with black beans and yellow rice. So, I click on the fish platter, it makes me choose grilled or fried, then it says choose one side, and it has a bunch of salads listed. says i'm required to choose a side. Chose my salad. Co-worker went to pick up order - got all the way back to the office, no black beans/rice. Called them and they said the salad was substituted for the beans and rice. NO! FIX YOUR WEBSITE PLEASE. IT MADE ME CHOOSE A SIDE. Wouldn't give me a partial refund for that. So, I got charged $11.99 for a piece of fish and small salad. Never again. Wouldn't have left a bad review if the owner would've maybe offered a few dollars back. I even went back on the website to see if I looked at something wrong - Nope, clearly says all platters are served with beans/rice. Customer service goes along way. - SO, I'M READING ALL THE ONE STAR REVIEWS, JUST OUT OF CURIOSITY AND OUT OF THE 5-10 RESPONSES THAT I'VE READ FROM THE OWNER, THEY TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANYTHING. No "I apologize for your bad experience", "how can we make it right"....nothing but insults and blaming the customers. WOW

Like a lot of other people, I had quit coming here after the new owner had messed up a great thing. But I decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised. The new manager is great and our server was very friendly and attentive. I went with my standard lunch here as a test... cuban sandwich, deviled crab and cafe con leche. There was plenty of roast pork on the sandwich and very flavorable. The deviled crab was way better than the last time I was here. My buddy said his philly steak was delicious too. I'm so happy to see this place making a comeback

I went to this restaurant on September 8, 2020 the restaurant is big it has good space, but I persisted that the smell is not very good, the bathrooms were clean, we ordered the food, it took too long, for an empty place, my husband ordered eggs your way cuban bread, consists of 3 eggs with ham, potatoes and bread I ordered a bacon cheese and egg sandwich, nothing special, my husband's eggs were badly prepared, they had to be made again, the server apologized, the food was good (server)Bradley G was the one who attended us and he tried to make our experience a good one but unfortunately they have many things to improve I wish you luck
Super clean place. Food is delicious....my wife and I were on vacation and came here 2 times in 2 days because the food is that good. Staff is super friendly and helpful loved it would definitely come back.

I love their coffee ☕ con leche. Great Cuban flavor. They have affordable and tasty sandwiches. The Reuben Sandwich is my favorite. I drive between five work locations. When I am on the Eastside of Tampa, this is my must stop place. The staff are always nice. I've enjoyed coming to this place for over 5+years.

I don't like to post bad reviews. My daughter been at this restaurant before & it was really good. Now they have a new manager & is horrible. We order fries yucas for appetizers & they brought us the root the middle part of it. Was burn & they took forever. I definitely will not recommend this place. On top we ending paying almost $20.00 on something that was not even worth it. If you want a really good Cuban food go to La Teresita's restaurant. There food is amazing & they give you a lot.

One of my favorite places for tasty cuban food. I wish there were more places like this around town. There was fast and courteous service. This place has a great feel to it. Food is similar to a cafe in Portland I loved.
