Went last night for dinner. Daily used to go more often, but now it’s just every few months. Food is excellent as always. Service is still good, but not like I remember. Biggest change is the vibe. Restaurant just feels old and worn down. Host stand leather is even worn down. Vibe was just blah. Shorts, tee shirts and sneakers all around. Probably our last visit.

The food and service were great. I recommend the spicy shrimp appetizer, petit filet & shrimp, and brussels sprouts. Do not order the mashed potatoes unless you enjoy them extra creamy. Marco and Carlos gave fantastic service. The lighting in the dining room was so dim, it would be nice for them to open the drapes a little more.Parking: There’s not much self parking but plenty of valet parking.

This was the email I sent that I received no response back from!I attended a birthday dinner celebration on Saturday, April, 20, 2024 at 5:45pm . I was over the moon excited to get to experience the infamous Ruth Chris I have heard such great things about. However, I was highly disappointed. From the food to the lack of service. To start, I asked for unsweet tea about 4 times before receiving my first, I constantly had to flag the servers for refills for drinks, bread, butter etc.... I had to call a manager over while he was walking by to attempt a coffee after dinner service. My husband ordered his steak medium rare and I ordered mine the same. Mine was edible but more on the medium side. My husband's steak was medium well and he returned it and asked for a rare steak. By the time his steak came out we were all finished. I also upgraded my steak to oscar style and the amount of sauce on the crab cake overpowered the crab cake. I almost asked for another crab cake without the sauce but didn't want to be a bother. The quality of the steak was not like I have had at other steakhouses. The servers all seemed stretched thin and bothered when asking for things. Overall I was very disappointed and will likely not return.

TLDR: Extremely underwhelming! Go to any other steakhouse before coming here unless you just want to pretend to be "fancy". If you're looking for the food to blow you away, this place is not the place for you. Also, make sure to set aside a good amount of time for the fact the service is very slow. For the price you pay to eat here, I had high expectations which they did NOT meet. We were here for a friends birthday as a party of 10 on Saturday evening April 20th. This dinner lasted 3 hours--not by our choice--which is INSANE! We had plans to try to do something afterwards, but it was too late by the time we left. Service was very slow/not attentive (majority of the time we sat with empty cups waiting for a server to come back) and we only got refills on our drinks 1 time in that 3 hour time bracket. The food was mediocre at best which was the biggest slap in the face, in my opinion, because you're paying $50+ per steak (JUST THE STEAK) for it to be sub par. The cook on the steaks was executed nicely, but the flavor was bland. The sides were bland. The best dish we tried was the Lobster Mac & Cheese, but even that had its flaws, such as the sauce being too runny and the dried out cheese "crust" on top; the flavor was good. Once we were all done with our dinner someone came by and boxed up what didn't get eaten, and that's when we were all confused as to what was happening. We sat waiting for someone to come back around to offer dessert/bring dessert for those who ordered the prefixed meal option for about 20-30 minutes. Drinkless. Boxes in bags on the table. No server in sight. Finally, they walked by and said that dessert is coming out soon and quickly walked away, but never asked if anyone wanted to order dessert (again, for those who didn't order the prefixed meal). They brought out dessert for those folks then started taking dessert orders for others... Why not all at once?My husband and I drank water, he ordered the prefixed meal of lobster bisque, steak and shrimp, garlic mash, and chef choice dessert. I ordered the 8oz filet, Oscar style (1 crab cake, 3 asparagus spears, bernaise sauce on top) with a side of brussels sprouts. Our total was approx $165--with tip $185 (which, to be honest, I didn't even want to give because of how crappy the service was, but did because I'm not a monster). We left pissed. Spent the most ridiculous amount of money on stuff you could get anywhere else cheaper AND it would still taste better. Why didn't we bring this up at the time of service? Because it was our friends birthday dinner and we were not going to create an uncomfortable situation as it was NOT her fault for this wasteful experience.Parking: If you cannot park yourself you're forced to use Valet. There's minimal self parking.

We had a great anniversary dinner. The food was cooked to perfection and the table dressed in rose petals for us. The atmosphere there is not to my liking but everything else was excellent.

All I can say is WOW! We visited for our anniversary celebration. Our table was beautifully set with real rose petals scattered around the table. Our server Jonathan was the best. He was very attentive but did not hover. The food was exceptional, and the wine list was expansive. A very special place.

So disappointed with this place. Ate there for Easter. Ordered steak and lobster tail. For one of my sides I ordered mashed potatoes, I swear to you they tasted like instant mashed potatoes. Steak was just ok, not much favor and had to send back because was not cooked medium as ordered. Point is for such a high priced supposed high end restaurant you expect sooo much better. Shame on you, I will never go back. Save your money people and go somewhere like Longhorn, they blow this place away.
