A cool little joint with excellent Dominican fare. The mofongo was on the money - reminded me of mofongo at Adrian Tropical in Santo Domingo proper. The service was awesome and all the food was great. Check this little joint out - it will not disappoint!!! Some people may review this place negatively because they simply don't know!

Definitely not worth it! Unless, you enjoy being ignored by staff and receiving dirty bottles of hot sauce with hair stuck to it. When addressed with management they had no issues. Poor service and explanation. Manager was more incline to argue than to make it right.

This place is good. The previous owners were better but is good to have a nice Dominican spot in tampa. Tampa is not known to having great Spanish restaurants

Came here today with my coworkers and a friend that is half Dominican so it was her recommendation to try this place. Glad we did! The staff is super friendly and the food was so authentic and flavorful. You walk up and order off of the buffet of food. They have lunch specials for $5.99 which includes rice, beans and a meat. I also added some potato to mine and was not charged extra. I absolutely love rice and beans and thee were so full of flavor. The chicken was AMAZING! Fall off the bone tender and wow so flavorful!!! I may be back here soon! Highly recommend if you're looking for authentic Dominican food.

My boyfriend and I came to clearwater to vacay and visited this place, we just wanted a Dominican meal and a delicious Dominican drink and we got just as we asked... excellent customer service, price is just right, food portions was generous and the drinks were amazing, also bought a pineapple cake and omg soooo delicious!! Will definitely visit before I head back to NY. I did find this place on yelp! Great find!

My parents are Dominican and this place as authentic Dominican food! I had a craving for Sancocho and it was amazing! The penir was the best I have had in a while! The music brought me back to Dominican Republic!
I ordered my food over the phone and it was ready and hot, once I got there. Everyone was friendly on the phone and in person, and their recommendations were appreciated when ordering. Food has lots of flavor and good portions for price. Will definitely be back when in Tampa again.

First time here! After getting my nails done I was starving! This place was less than a mile away and bookmarked so I went for it. The place was quite empty for a Saturday around lunch time. They had the foods displayed so that you can choose what you want just seeing how delicious everything looks. I decided on baked chicken, rice, beans and a piece of Dominican cake called Biscocho. Everything was delicious and I ate every single ounce of it. They filled the tray up to the top so I definitely felt I got my money's worth since they are slightly more expensive than most of Spanish restaurants. They man behind the counter was extremely nice and tried to get me to try the 'flancocho' which is mixture of flan and biscocho. Next time, my friend. Next time. I will most definitely be back and I feel like this may be my go to for my arroz con gandules fix since it's so close by.
