Ventured out on a cold night to get sushi with friends. Our waitress was great, but after 45 minutes, we had to cancel our main sushi order after only getting soups. The only thing colder than the restaurant was the ownerships and managements attitude. If you’re looking to eat in and get sushi, go somewhere else. We were told our food would be ready shortly, then watched the single chef working prepare over 20+ to go orders. Speaking with management about the situation did nothing; they did nothing to address the temperature, the wait, and just made passive excuses without proactively mitigating the situation. Online orders were still flowing with not a single table sat during our 45 mins in the restaurant getting anything besides appetizers.

Jackson was incredibly welcoming and assuring as a waiter! I'm not very sushi-knowledgeable and he answered all my questions with ease and patience! Food was just as great as his service. Highly reccomend, it's an Ybor gem.

We had an enjoyable night out at Samurai Blue. We started with the Blue Crab Rangoon, and it was very tasty. I ordered the sushi dinner, and it came with a nice variety of Nigiri. My wife ordered a few rolls and enjoyed them as well. The presentation was creative. The Caterpillar Roll comes with two eyes. The service was excellent and the vibe was relaxing.
Krab Rangoon are sooo goodt and sushi was made in front of me and served so fresh , i come here daily for lunch and I love it

My husband and I absolutely love this Japanese restaurant! Every time we visit, we are warmly welcomed and treated with excellence. The food is always fresh and delicious, the sushi rolls are rich in flavor and beautifully crafted, and the chef’s recommendations never disappoint. The ambient is unique and cozy, it has truly become our favorite place. We always recommend it to all of our friends!

I get extremely negative vibes from the staff here. The management was shockingly rude, unscheduled, and disorganized. They clearly do not know how to approach professionalism, or even simply greet a patron. Yikes.

Employees are very rude and dismissive, I spoke to three different people within 60 seconds (hostess, bar, and waiter) and they all gave the same attitude. Are you even open for business where is the delightful customer service. Trash establishment!
